  1. Rufus has option to prepare uefi or legacy usb.
  2. Cloned win7 will work. If not - use Paragon Adaptive Restore bootable usb and click "Adjust OS". Then it will boot without problem.
  3. Not so long ago browsers are 32 bit only and still some people had lot of tabs opened. So it's not really important how much ram do you have if you're browsing internet. At least in most cases.
  4. It's really hard to helping you. No screenshots, no anything. Do you prepared that usb in legacy mode? You cannot install Windows in uefi mode if your drive was initialize as mbr before. You need compatible usb installation with drive format. You may use bootable partition manager to change drive format or prepare usb with legacy installation. Or you may try method I wrote before and you ignored it.
  5. That without OC have probably higher clocks than referrence ones anyway, so is OC too, but not that much as OC version. Get normal. If OC costs the same - get OC and downclock it to normal. Lifetime is more important than 3 or 4 fps more.
  6. If you're talking about good music player then no - I never saw anything good on Linux. Maybe Clementine, but usually people says that is not so good. On Windows you have MusicBee, Aimp, FooBar and lot more good and working players. VLC can play mp3 for sure, but every good filemanager can do that too, some image viewers too, you can play mp3 in browser but that is not a solution because these programs are not designed to be music players.
  7. Well, if nothing changed then everything works, right? Do you have your own router or ISP gives you one? If it's not your own then ISP can update its firmware from time to time. So follow my advice anyway. Also - use AdwCleaner, it has basic repair option that resets winsock and/or other net settings (I don't remember right now). It may helps.
  8. Some devices do not like when two wifi networks have the same sid. Try to set different sid for 5ghz wifi in router.
  9. You can get whatever you want, most of well known brands made good PSU series, I'm just talking about my experience and I like BeQuiet PSUs because they never let me down.
  10. Seasonic may have half-passive mode, but when fan starts - it sounds crappy and unpleasant (and you can find examples on YouTube). Also - it's the only PSU I have that I must plug my internal hotplug bays to separate cable because somehow voltage spikes on the same cable, when I inserted HDD, causes system freeze. So %@!^ that famous quality. I am happy that it has 10 years of guarantee, but that's all. I never heard about temperature problem with BeQuiet. And I use them in many builds. Temperature also depends on serie - the higher serie (Gold, Platinum etc) the less heat.
  11. Looks nice except too much fans, but that's just me. ;) Also, I have Seasonic Prime Gold and I strongly recommend you to choose BeQuiet. From my experience it's just better choice. Some PurePower or StraightPower serie.
  12. If you already have i5 8600k then you have processor not only good for server, but even for gaming pc. 6 fast cores with oc possibility is something that should work well. But if you must buy everything else... I don't really know. It's up to you. I still don't know if you want to play on this pc or just use it as game server and pc for Corel and PS. For that you probably don't even need gpu.
  13. Yes, but you can spend that money on many better things. Cheap pc for server and rest for... I don't know, better monitor for your main pc? Big good speakers and amplifier for better sound experience? Few good gamepads? Gaming keyboard maybe or big ssd for games? I assume that it will be separate computer, not your main pc for server and playing games.
  14. For that all you need is any working pc with lan and hdd. No need to build powerful pc. Game server is not the same as game.
  15. Kill some applications and tasks until your mouse starts working good, then you'll know which one is troublemaker.
  16. But check anyway which application using most of cpu power.
  17. Then something is consuming your computer power. Check task manager.
  18. First try another mouse to be sure it's mouse problem.
  19. So maybe battery? Or just plug your usb receiver in front usb panel.
  20. Monitor refresh rate if is somehow set to 30Hz or less for desktop. But it suppose to be not smooth, but still not laggy.
  21. There is no wattage, not like you think. High wattage means can deliver more if you need it. Or, to be more accurate - can handle more demanding devices.
  22. For AutoCad, Photoshop and CorelDraw - no. For occasional gaming - no. But if you have too much money - why not. :)
  23. So you have separate drive for Windows? Nice, then you may just clone your system to ssd. You can find lot of topics on this forum about it.
  24. I don't really know what are you asking for. First you're asking about upgrading CPU - so no, IMO it's not worth to upgrade just for 3600 from i7 6700k. At this moment you'll see not so big differences. If anything - go for Ryzen 5000. Upgrade should be noticeable, not just measurable. But then you're asking about RGB stuff, USB connectors - it's not really related to CPU. It's related to motherboard and that is different question - what motherboard you should buy WHEN you'll be replacing CPU.
  25. Is very hard to install wrong driver for gpu. You can try and install Nvidia driver for Radeon GPU - it's just almost impossible, you must force somehow to install unpacked INF file after few warnings that driver is not compatible. And for GPUs all drivers (updated) are mostly fine because they're universal (if you install Nvidia drivers for nvidia gpu or radeon for amd cards).
