  1. So, I just installed everything and I went to change the color of the LED's on the fans and what not, only to find that nothing was being detected
  2. If I were watercooling I would 100% go with the titan, but i'm not (yet) so I'm a little concerned about thermals
  3. Thanks! I think i'll go for the 2080 since they have the battlefield v thing going on, might be a meh game but at least it's a game
  4. Well, see the thing is that they're both the same price, probably should've mentioned that haha
  5. So, I currently have a choice between an Aorus 2080 and a Star Wars 2080, I'm not sure which one to choose, the only thing that really concerns me about the Titan is that it's a blower-style cooler, while the 2080 is a triple fan, I'm mostly using this PC for 1080p 144Hz and some light content creation, any advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance! Edit: Both cards are for about the same price
  6. 5 120mm fans, 2 of which are led fans, 2 140mm fans, a liquid cooled 1080ti (AIO) and a liquid cooler Ryzen 7 2700X (AIO), alongside some rgb stuff, think that's causing too much strain?
  7. Do you think that getting a newer/more efficient PSU would fix it?
  8. I completely reinstalled windows, it's a coolermaster masterwatt 650 80 plus bronze unit
  9. So, yesterday I got a 1080Ti FTW3 Hybrid and upgraded from a 1080 FTW, obviously the first thing I wanted to do was play some games, well, after trying three games I can say that they all lock up unless I have my power target at 80% or below, do you guys think this is my power supply? I have a 650W bronze unit, I also have a R7 2700X with an AIO if that makes any difference.
  10. Just as a baseline, check out some ASUS boards, I just got a crosshair VI hero and it has 2 RGB headers, you can get a Maximus X Hero used/refurbed for around 140-150, just make sure it's in good condition
  11. That's kinda what I was leaning towards, but the real question in my head is what motherboard I should go for, I've heard that the Crosshair and Taichi are both the best you can buy but I was wondering if there were any advantages to either
  12. A mix of both really, play on using it to stream and do software encoding
  13. So, I'm seriously about to buy a new cpu and I'm teetering on a 2700x and an 8700k, but either way I'm aware that they'd both be good, I have a choice to make between an ASUS ROG Maximus X on the intel side and the Z370 taichi, and on the AMD side an ROG Crosshair VI Hero and the taichi equivalent, any advice would be greatly appreciated
