Hi,
Today my external hard drive stopped working. I use it for pictures and school documents, sometimes on a macbook or a windows laptop. When looking in file explorer and trying to open the hard drive it said: "You need to format the disk in drive D: before you can use it. Do you want to format it?". When i press cancel i get a pop-up saying the disk is not accessible. the volume does not contain a recognized file system. Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted. In disk management is says the drive is 1863.012 GB RAW.
Free software cannot help my problem because the disk is 2 TB.
Does anyone have a fix for this please let me know and if there is more information needed to fix this problem please let me know, thank you.
