  1. Thanks. I updated the drivers. Better, but still underutilized. Why would I update my bios and risk something going wrong. I only changed the gpu out it shouldnt do anything
  2. Chipset drivers auto installed with adrenaline software have not updated bios per reccomendation and I am playing 1080p doing testing before my 2k monitor arrives, but if it cannot hit 165hz on 1080p, i don't think it will in 2k
  3. I am monitoring those valiues with AMD Adrenaline. Will try uninstalling drivers and the game and reinstalling both like you suggested
  4. Yes it's 144, but I disabled it and hit 200+ in firing range
  5. I just installed a new gpu, downloaded the drivers, and played some apex neither gpu or cpu is being fully utilized but I am getting capped in game around 130 fps was higher fps and gpu utilization in the firing range (less map to load) if thats useful info asrock 450m pro4 mobo ryzen 5 3600 rx 6750xt 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ram (running at correct speed now, helped a lil)
  6. How can I tell. Is there a way without buying a new one?
  7. PC is crashing, usually when gaming (although not always). I have checked temps and they are normal as it crashes. I have updated graphics my drivers. I have overclocked before, but settings are reverted to default. I checked a crash log in event viewer and it says this: The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Keywords 0x8000400000000002 Let me know if I can provide anything else Update: I just realized a little before this happened I was having issues with downloading Apex Legends. It said a bunch of times I didn't have the space even though my storage said I did. Stoppped and started the update a number of times. Not sure if this is relevant though
  8. I am using the cooler master mb320l case and its 2 included front fans. Got them hooked up, working, then one stopped lighting up, but both spin. I am confused because they use the same plug in. Any ideas?
  9. True. I guess a better question would be "how much will other part prices drop and how far off are these drops?"
  10. Just sold my first build and Im using the profits to upgrade ($800 budget now) I plan to keep selling as people bite on the high prices I post, using the pcs as my personal in the downtime. Since I don't have anything now, I'm kinda impatient and not sure exactly when the new stuff will drop/if it's really worth the wait. Thoughts?
  11. @thirdparty @TofuHaroto @Shimejii @xg32 @PoopThatTookAPee Thank you all very much for your input. Was going to wait for new GPUs to drop, but I thought Zen3 was going to be awhile? Either way I'll go for the 3600 (I was under the impression that they were still the same price as the XTs), probably get a little better of GPU, and upgrade the ram to 16gb. Still getting an NVME M.2 as everywhere I look they are the same price as regular SSDs rn??? And as for the mobo, I won't be cheaping out as per reccomendation. Will probably get a Tomohawk but I'll compare the list given first. Thanks again for the help guys, tremendously helpful and knowledgable as usual around here!
  12. I've looked at so many options my brain is melting and I don't understand why this $69 mobo isn't reccomended as budget, but this $110 is. Is there some important features I'll miss, better for OC, etc? I just want a basic mobo, compatible with the following potential part list, that won't give me problems or drop performance, and for the best price. Thank you for your expertise LTT browsers <3 Here's the list: Nvidia 1650s Ryzen 5 3600XT 3200mhz DDR4 RAM 2x4gb and an NVME M.2 SSD
  13. I just installed a 256gb Silicon Power 2280 SSD into my B450 Aorus M motherboard. I went into the tool I planned to use to transfer the OS, but it was not there. Checked the BIOS, not there. Thought maybe I didn't get in far enough, reinstalled what seemed a perfect fit, nothing. I've tried booting it in NVME Raid mode with no success. This installation is crucial as my HDD will fail over the next few days, based on the grinding, speeds, and crashes. Thank you for reading, anything is appreciated.
  14. Thank you all for your help. My issue has been fixed. As mentioned above, I turned off my pc, swtiched the BIOS switch on my GPU, watched my pc die before my eyes upon boot up, retried with original BIOS to meet a permanent black screen. I switched the back to fried BIOS out of curiosity, was met an intense increase in outtake fan speed (so much so that I felt it at a perpindicular angle to the flow), and the system booted up just fine. Everything works now. Honestly suspicious this happens after immediately after telling the seller about the issue. Anyways thanks for the help everyone have a good life!
  15. @GreyestGoat The GPU is an RX570. I switched to the second BIOS and it booted up all deep fried rainbow pixilated. Turned it off, switched back to original, and now it's on a long black screen upon bootup.
  16. @The_russian Your link did not post, but you have me excited! Yes, and now that you say that I'm sure the seller was mining. He had pictures of 10 of these in a home.
  17. @Eigenvektor The German page threw me off for a sec but I think this may help. I was using the 20.4.2 version
  18. Thanks @Eigenvektor & @The_russian, I forget to mention that. I used DDU in safe mode to uninstall both GPU drivers, booted back into normal mode, and installed the drivers. Same error.
  19. Today I built my first pc. I switched from Nvidia to AMD (RX570/Ryzen 5 160AF), but used my old HDD for the build. The Nvidia drivers were still on the HDD when I attempted to download the new Radeon Drivers. When opening Radeon software, I get an error message "No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the AMD driver is not functioning properly. Please install the AMD driver appropriate for your device. In device manager, my GPU has a red triangle and it's description reads "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". Getting really tired of trying to get this to work, so thank you very much for any help.

  21. So I have a pair of hyperx headphones with an aux running from the headset and plugging into a small control box, where it leads to a usb. The aux cord has been cut. I think I could fix it if I still had the reset of the aux, but I don't. It's got more wires than other aux cords Ive seen too. One black, with two cords inside, metalic red and metalic gold. The other, white, has three inside: metalic red and geen, metalic blue, and metalic green. Anyone know how to make this work? I can solder and heat shrink wrap it. Idc if the box controls dont work, the audio is all that matters. Thank you for reading!
  22. This monitor is great, but the right side has a semi transparent black bar. I was hoping someone would know how I could fix it myself or at least how much it would cost to get fixed by a pro. Thank you very much!
  23. I checked and it is a conductive paste. If I apply it right this time should I expect permanent damage or might I be all good?
  24. I applied new to the CPU. Didn't think to clean the thermal compound off of the heat sink. I guess I figured it it was working for the last chip that old grease wouldn't hurt.
