  1. I took off the block and switched it around because the tubes going from the block to the radiator had one twist on them so I maybe thought that was part of the problem and it helped a little the temps went down to around 33c-37c idle but that's on stock settings still. Also I find it weird but it might be just a intel thing. This is the first intel processor I had before I had 3 different AMD Processors but even though I have my settings at stock settings or Optimized default settings is what the gigabyte bios calls it my cpu clocks are keep hitting 4800mhz-5000mhz without me overclocking anything is that normal? I also used Arctic MX-4 Thermal paste as well.
  2. Ok Thanks for taking the time to explain all that to me and suggest things to me. I will do everything you suggested and get back to you. Thanks!
  3. Hello I have been having issues with my i9-9900k with high idle temps. System being idle the CPU idles at 38c-55c with the Corsair H115i Platinum RGB 280mm which I understand is a very good cooler. So what I don't understand is why its doing this. Its does the same thing no matter if I have it overclocked or not. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. Been all over google for weeks now about this and nothing. Gonna be setting it to stock settings for now. But would really like to Overclock this very expensive CPU. On another note I am also very concerned about my Motherboard temps not sure if they are the VRM's or not but according to CPUID HWMonitor the motherboard temps idle at TMPIN0 - 38c TMPIN1 - 50c TMPIN2 - 32c TMPIN3 - 38c TMPIN4 - 57c System specs are CPU - Intel i9-9900K GPU - Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB AORUS Xtreme Edition RAM - 32GB DDR4 GSKILL 3200 CPU COOLING - Corsair H115i Platinum MOTHERBOARD - Gigabyte AORUS Z370 Gaming 7 STORAGE - 500GB SAMSUNG 970 EVO SSD, 1TB SAMSUNG 860 EVO SSD PSU - Corsair CX750M OS - Windows 10 Pro Any Help at all would be greatly appreciated again!

  5. Yeah but honestly I don't like the look and its to wide to be honest thanks for your reply though
  6. do you know if it will support my Corsair H115i AIO Liquid cooler? if not I am not sure what AIO to get with it
  7. Yeah been really thinking of getting either the NXZT H700 or the Fractal Design R6 TG I really want the corsair obsidian 500D but I want to use all my LL series 140mm fans I got I have 5 of them
  8. I don't mind the inverted mobo but why do you think that's the best choice? just want opinions
  9. Because I have a lot of corsair components including all my fans, PSU and AIO so it would make sense to have a corsair case
  10. Hello I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any Corsair Cases that will support a 140mm fan in the Rear?
