- GDPR which even by today is still not followed by many corps which have consequently been fined due to it
 
These are just 5 from the top of my head without looking it up, there are innumerous laws and regulations just in the EU Consumer side of things...don't know lad, you might be from France but like the other lad said, you seem clueless or just irrationally angry so you just flat-out say things without meaning them that are simply not true and extremely hyperbolic.
 
And yes, I am too an EU citizen, which is a false appeal to authority anyways, don't need to be from the EU to know what they have done for their EU citizens...

Plex is a fairly different type of product compared to Emby and Jellyfin.
 
Emby and Jellyfin are very focused on playing your own media. They are basically VLC but with a different skin.
 
Plex is a subscription service that does allow you to play your own media, but judging by their website they are more focused on being a Netflix type of service.
 
I just want you to clarify what exactly you mean with "media streaming product" so that we don't talk past each other. Plex and Jellyfin/Emby are not really the same category of programs. There is some overlap in functionality, but they are still pretty different. I guess you could call Emby and Jellyfin a subset of what Plex is. 
 
 
 
 
If it keeps getting removed from Github then it could (and would) move to a different platform. We have seen this happen with other programs.
 
But that is assuming the program would even get removed to begin with, which is a massive stretch and far more unlikely than Plex caving to pressure from their business partners.
 
 
If you think Jellyfin and Emby are just as vulnerable to getting shut down as Plex then I don't know what to tell you.

Warranty cases in Switzerland are handled by the retailer, not the manufacturer. So getting an exchange for a product in 2 days, while very quick, is entirely reasonable. I had a warranty issue on my CPU a few years back that I bought on Digitec. I made the warranty claim on a Sunday and had a replacement by Thursday. And that was back in 2021, during the height of the chip shortage. So when I sent it on Monday (earliest possible day to send something by regular mail), I had a replacement 3 days later. Anecdotal, I know, but it lines up with my experience in general when it comes to warranty cases in Switzerland.

Wrong, it is always innocent until proven guilty, that point is obviously an if-else case, depending on how the Lawsuit develops one side or the other will win the public opinion, most recently see the lawsuit involving Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
 
If people draw conclusions of a court case before it is concluded, their opinion is automatically irrelevant and they should be disregarded for anything in any topic ever.

You ignore a number of factors, such as the power-dynamics that would be involved in a position like such. I am a bit perplexed how you don't understand what "inappropriately grabbed" means. As you are completely unaware of sexual harrassment that occur in the workplace (perhaps you are and that is actually the issue). 
I don't believe that she was "offended" by the fact that senior management wasn't "fire(d)" because she was complaining. She was discussing how the inappropriate management of the facilities/programs was not being addressed. 

I'm completely perplexed at how someone could be this level of complete inaccuracy in their reading.

I've been a lurker on this site for years and have thought about joining for a while but haven't till recently and if you are a representative of the community here, I don't really think almost anyone would want to come here.

I worked for the railroad for several years and have had to deal with being told a bunch of things when the issues weren't my fault. So that won't really land with me, but you are welcome to still make them nonetheless.

Me personally I've been seeing Linus for who he really is for the past few years now, and this here with Steve is very much so overdue. I watched every second of Steve's video and everything he brought up is completely valid.
 
As someone that used to be something of an LMG fan boy, and have been watching since 2013, and supported them many times by buying their merch, and through vessel and then FP, I truly believe that company has become too big for it's own good, and refuse to give it another penny of my money.
