    Don't feel too bad. I can't use my desktop because setting up the watercooling a quick disconnect fitting showed up defective. I REALLY don't want to remove the water blocks and have to put them back on when the replacement fitting arrives so I'm stuck using a laptop which struggles to run VLC player & chrome at the same time. Not to mention it works when it wants to.

     

    Laptop: Hey, batteries are gett'in low. Plug me in.

    Me: You got it. *plug it in*

    Laptop: Thanks. ...hey, batteries are gett'in low. Plug me in.

    Me: You are plugged in.

    Laptop: No I'm not...

    Me: ...*unplugs cable, plugs back in*...

    Laptop: Thanks. ...hey, batteries are gett'in low. Plug me in.

    Me: You ARE plugged in.

    Laptop: NO I'M NOT!!! *kills self*

    Me:...WTF?...*hits power button*

    Laptop: *screen lights up, fan spin* Screw you! *kills self again*

     

    The funny thing is. If I leave it overnight, unplugged, no battery it'll run off wall power with no battery just fine by morning. Something ceramic capacitor related I'm guessing. Overnight they must discharge and when fresh power is applied they run fine.
