TheNFactor got a reaction from Ithanul in Looking to get into 3D Printing
Depending on the size, i would recommend that you get a resin printer (like an elegoo mars or anycubic photon). A filament printer generally can't get the level of detail that you would like for these miniatures. I'm sure it's possible to get similar levels of detail on a filament printer with a .2/.15mm nozzle, but i haven't had much luck. If you're willing to go through the post processing required with resin printing, that would be my recommendation.

I generally wouldn't do anything medical with resin. AFAIK there isn't much research into chronic exposure to cured resin, so i'm not sure that any organizations would accept resin parts.

TheNFactor got a reaction from Terabyte_272 in what to increase resolution or msaa
Msaa makes games look less flickery on lower resolutions by blurring sharp edges but theoretically if your resolution is high enough you don't need msaa (not practical). It really just comes down to preference and frame rate.

The premiums look worse , are more comfortable, and some claim to sound better.

I also forgot to mention dt880 they are also excellent. Has a much smoother sound signature than the 990

Impedance doesn't matter my 55 ohm k240 are harder to power than my 150 ohm 58x. The sextetts are notorious for being hard to power and basically require a amp so powerful that your basically powering a small speaker.

I am not particularly an "audiophile," but I did want to get myself some "good" headphones after using crappy gaming headsets for the past 15+ years.
I opted for the dt 990s and they are AWESOME. Sure, you don't get the whole "noise cancellation" thing, but the sound is great. If it were up to me, I'd get those, but I have never tried the m565s.

I'd like to throw in the Sennheiser HD6xx and AKG K7XX headphones as well. I haven't owned the K7XX but my HD6XX's are amazing.
