    Oh and the desktop conversion stuff was awesome so it turned into a pc was done way before anyone else did it and that was really cool. Let's not forget the Nokia Lumia 1020 with a camera to kill for. I had a hard time giving that one up for the 1520.

    Sorry but Windows Phone was so much more secure, easier MDM, the apps didn't dictate your phone you actually controlled them, live tiles are the greatest thing ever to UI, Windows hello is amazing and was on those further increasing security, the OS was better performing and better on battery and what apps were "bloatware" you couldn't remove? Cause when I had it from day 1 till last year I could remove any that the OEM or the freaking carriers put on it. Oh and the store was way more elegant and easier to find stuff you wanted BTW.

    It's more then little reason. You should be ready and willing. Do not get attached like so many did with XP and now 7. There are a ton of new amazing things in 10. You might just do it cause it's awesome and not very expensive at all. And with ARM PC'S in the future we will finally have a better OS for more mobile computing then Android. That thing is terrible. It's sad I have to use it.

    Security is a big thing for me since I do it professionally and personally prevented major issues others have fallen for. So for me I get offended when others don't take it seriously and think it's OK for someone to hopefully avoid pitfalls like when people drive without insurance cause they won't hit anyone will they and then BAM I get hit buy that driver. Ugh. Plan for the future and always be paranoid

    BTW I did that same strategy I mentioned for xp and 7 already. I did bump from them early cause of all the AMAZING featured they offered but friend and family that didn't want to bump up to greatness I instructed to do so closer to the cut off date

    If you hate this stuff btw you must hate android and apple to a lesser extent for thier phones and must have loved Windows Phone for allowing you to have more control over your privacy and apps then right? Right?!?!?!?

    You can Uninstaller the bloatware instead of Android phones where you can't (miss windows phone btw for that crap) I haven't had anything effected by GPE changes, Cortana is awesome. Have the speaker and it's on my phone. Still not as good as it was on windows phone but got to get over it sadly, action center is really good and live off of it religiously and what is user default recognition? Like default apps you can change in the OS?

    Yep so have an exit strategy ready now and jump ship BEFORE that date so your ready and not standing there bent over ready for an attacker.

    What is so bad with 10. I've been an insider since day 1 and it's been the best Operating system yet (Implying more greatness from Microsoft)

    It's not going to be that bad but it is better. But you have to weigh cost and time needed to get the new stuff going. So it's OK for companies to do it. But to discredit Microsoft's work on creating new software and making it better is so misleading. If your on windows 7 you need to jump ship now and companies are starting to in a big way. This is the end of 7 as we know it. Windows 10 is the OS of the future. If you don't like it get over it. Plus Windows 10 is awesome

    You can't be 100 percent accurate. You will screw up. That's not a good security plan in anyway shape or form.

    It is 100 percent better getting newer software even if the older supported one. Windows 10 is more secure the Windows 7 and virtually all security firms agree. So that argument it invalid. Using software that isn't supported is just dumb.

    Just use upto date software, keep Windows upto date and don't argue with it.

    And being too dependent on one over the other can be an issue. There are others who have put good points up and if you noticed it made sense and was actually usefull and I didn't argue with it. So there are good (but so few) points made. Using outdated software or becoming dependent on a AV software's useless as a plan. And hinder your security seriously let alone your work efficiency significantly. Welcome to the modern world and basic security 101.
