  1. I will send you a picture when I open the laptop .
  2. To put it simple. I have opened the laptop to install the SSD i'm currently using. Since I won't have power to feed a HDD connected to the M2 with only SATA, I'll install the HDD to the slot with power and the SSD will be connected only through the SATA. And one more time, I've opened the laptop and I KNOW that there is enough space. Look at the older models that have a CD/DVD to see how much space it takes, then take the CD/DVD out and you will see EXACTLY how much space I have! Laptop for reference: Acer Aspire 5750G which is a little smaller (by a little I mean < 1'').
  3. @Timotheus2 I bought this thing https://www.aliexpress.com/item/M-2-NGFF-To-7-Pin-SATA-III-3-SSD-NGFF1ST-N02-Adapter-Converter-Board-Card/32848471302.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.28354c4dEQ347t . So the question now is: Can I run the SSD with only the SATA connection and no connection to a PSU I'll update the moment I get the adapter and connect the SSD only via SATA. Btw as stupid as it sounds there are people who run SSD without a connection to the PSU!
  4. I am looking for a cable that I connect one side to the M2 and the other to the 2.5" drive. To simplify this i'm looking for a cable like USB3 to SATA.
  5. Look as much as you like, I can guarantee you that there is enough space. But is there a cable for this?
  6. Did you try the other ports on the video card?
  7. I have enough space as the laptop doesn't have a CD/DVD drive. But the problem is that I need a cable and I couldn't find one...
  8. Hello guys. Recently I bought an Acer Aspire V5-591G-77DF and I want to install a second SATA HDD. Simple as that? Nope. My laptop has 1 x SATA and 1 x M.2 SATA 2280 slots for storage. I don't want to buy new SSD with M.2 SATA 2280 as I have a 500GB HDD that I can use. To the point, are there any cables which I can use to connect the SATA HDD to the M.2 SATA 2280 slot?
