  1. If I turn on my PC after shutting it down half the time there is no display. But if there is a display my PC works perfectly, I have an R5 1600 and a Vega 56 and an Acer 144hz monitor. I have recently installed an nvme SSD in my system and now I don't even see the boot screen it just directly starts displaying when it boots into windows(the login screen).
  2. A review of the mi 9t(redmi k20) and the mi 9t pro(redmi k20 pro). They can do something like what they did with the pocophone since both of them already have such good custom rom support plus both their screens can be overclocked to 75hz(or 84hz), I don't remember exactly, this would essentially make the k20 pro a one plus 7 pro, since both of their primary cameras too are the same.
  3. Hey guys, I have a gigabyte Vega 56 Gaming OC. I want to flash the Vega 64 bios onto it but the problem is that it only has a single bios. If I mess up, is there any way to recover my GPU. I have a spare GTX 750ti btw.
  4. Hey guys, I'm going to be upgrading my phone since I broke my trusty oneplus x. My two chioces are the Mi 9t(Redmi K20) or the Redmi K20 Pro. Since both of them have basically indentical hardware and only the SOC differs is it worth paying extra for the K20 PRO. I don't use my phone for "gaming", I just use it to watch videos listen to music browse Reddit read Emails, that sort of stuff. The difference in price between both if them is around 85$, i.e. I'll be paying 29.2% more for the K20 Pro
  5. Hey guys, I have an R5 1600 I've oced it to 4.2ghz@1.4375v but it never goes over 1.42v and vdroops to around 1.4v during stress tests, I've checked using both HWINFO and CPU-Z. My temps never cross above 75 degrees while running Prime 95 or OCCT LINPACK and usually hovers near 65 degrees is this safe for 24/7 use?
  6. I just made a my new PC it has a Ryzen 5 1600 and a Gigabyte Vega 56 which has been massively undervolted. I just wanted to know if I can mine any coins, not to make money but just for fun. And if so are there any coins which is easy to mine and might increase in value later. PS Electricity is really cheap where I live approx 0.07-0.08usd per KWh.
  7. I have a coolermaster masterliquid 240 I get like 73degress when I stress test using occt linpack. Anyways I'm using it at 4GHz. If at some point if time in the future I need the extra perf can I run it at 1.44v for a few hours.
  8. Hey guys, I just got a ryzen 5 1600 and I can do 4.2GHz at 1.44375v is this safe for 24/7 use. My cpu is also stable at 4.1ghz witgh 1.375v and 4GHz with 1.28v.
  9. Thanks for informing me I'm running it at 4GHz at 1.24v rn
  10. I recently got an R5 1600 from microcenter and along with a cheap mobo(the ASRock b450m pro4) I paid 120$. I used a coolermaster masterliquid 240 aio for these tests. I was able to OC my CPU to 4.2 GHz at 1.4v along with 3000mhz ram. I got a score of 3152cb in cinebench R20 multi and 425cb single, in cinebench r15 I got a score of 1401 I was able to push my CPU to 4.25v but it needed a ludicrous 1.52v It completed a run of cinebench r15 and I got a score of 1422cb, I ran cinebench R20 but it crashed and at this point I was too scared to run it again at such a high voltage so I called it a day.
  11. Well the tl;dr is this, The Gigabyte Vega 56 gaming OC is shit, I was dumb to buy it , the vrm is on the back and overheats, the GPU out of the box can't handle the voltages and clockspeeds so it crashes. Gigabyte released a new bios which fixes many issues, the f5 bios. Gigabyte provides a tool for flashing the bios, should I use this or ati flash.

  13. Hey guys, I bought a Gigabyte Vega 56 back in March and I got it today(long story), when I purchased it I was unaware of it's crappy design, and I just assumed that a card from a reputed brand like gigabyte would work flawlessly. But then later out of curiosity I read some reviews and then realized that it is a shitty card. These are the sources: https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-radeon-rx-vega-56-gv-rxvega56gaming-oc-8gd/p/N82E16814932030?Description=gigabyte vega 56&cm_re=gigabyte_vega_56-_-14-932-030-_-Product https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Radeon-Gaming-Graphic-GV-RXVEGA56GAMING/dp/B079LT39Z7/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=gigabyte+vega+56&qid=1562851110&s=gateway&sr=8-1 Then I did some digging to see weather I could do anything to improve the card, turns out most of the crashes are because a part of the VRM is on the back and it is cooled by a heatpipe connected to the backplate. Plus gigabyte pushed to cards way too far. (Tomshardware did a review in which they talked about the VRMs https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gigabyte-radeon-rx-vega-56-gaming-oc-8g-review,5413-3.html) Many people have claimed that flashing the F5 bios fixes everything, should I flash it and if so should I use ati flash or gigabyte's tool. If something goes wrong can I recover it(It does not have dual bios). I can't send it back too. PS: I haven't installed it in my new build yet. Edit 1: I plan to undervolt it and reduce the load on the VRMs as much as possible
  14. Hey guys I recently bought a new ryzen system. I snagged a new R5 1600 and Asrock b450 pro 4 mono for 140$. I have a cooler master masterliquid lite 240 aio form my old build. The problem is that my old build was an Intel system and I lost the aio's box and all the accessories in it. This aio supports ryzen processors out of the box and I need the thing whose image I attached(can't remember what it's called atm, the image is blurry sorry) Is there any place where I can buy it. Any help is appreciated.
  15. I'm going to be visiting India, and I wanted to get a new pair of headphones. The maximum I can spend is about 50$ or 3500 inr. I went through amazon.in and I decided to get these headphones https://www.amazon.in/Sennheiser-HD-4-20s-Around-Ear-Headphones/dp/B01K4N1PZ6/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 .Is this headphone good and moreover is there any other better headphone in the same price range.
  16. I want to get new headphones and I stumbled across this brand ausdom. I was initially very impressed by the ausdom m06 as it had really good reviews. Then in Amazon I came across the ausdom anc10, both of them cost about the same but the anc10 literally has no reviews, which I think is because it was listed just a few days ago. It would be really nice if someone could tell me weather it is worth purchasing or not. These are the specs: https://ausdom.com/products/ausdom-anc10-active-noise-cancellation-bluetooth-v5-0-headphones https://ausdom.com/products/ausdom-m06-deep-bass-stereo-wireless-bluetooth-headphones
  17. Thanks for the tip. This is my first time posting such a thread.
  18. First you need to know something called IPC. IPC stands for instructions per clock cycle. When you overclock the processor, you increase the number of clock cycles per second. Hence your processor executes more instructions every second, thereby increasing performance. IPC is determined by the architecture of the processor (i.e. how the processor was designed). So even if 2 processors have the same frequency (speed) they might have different performance.
  19. Guys the deepcool captain 240ex RGB is there for 59.99$ in Newegg.
