  1. Then how come some are quieter than others? It seems like the basic structure of a hard drive is the same despite differences in models. Sorry, I don't know anything about this subject.
  2. If it is not normal, then how do you fix it? What causes it?
  3. Is there not a way to fix this? There's no way anything can be louder than my blue switch keyboard, but this comes fairly close.
  4. Very similar to this around 0:11-0:24. Is there a way to fix this noise or is that something that cannot be fixed through hardware? Also, I did scan the drive with Seatools for Windows and it said that it passed the short generic test.
  5. So I have had my Hitachi 3 TB HDD for a month now with the noise problem as soon as I got it out of the box. Sometimes, when transferring files or downloading a new application, there is this very loud grinding/churning sound that occurs for as long as the download occurs. Does anyone have any fixes? The speed of reading/writing is fine, just the noise and vibration seem a bit concerning at the moment.
  6. I have a ryzen 2600x. I think a b450 is fine for the time being. Which model of b450 has the best rgb lighting then?
  7. So I've been looking for a motherboard to replace the MSi B450-A PRO that had the hd audio give out in the first month of usage. Are there any similar motherboards for the price point that are also good with dual channel ram? I would prefer if it had any RGB lighting with it, the more the better. No need for built in wifi or USB C.
  8. So recently I've been getting back into the zSilver rewards from razer, and saw that they have a new 'mining' software softminer. I was wondering if the GPU at 100% (Sapphire LE RX 580 8gb) with temps around 76C healthy for my gpu. I plan to do this for around 6 hours a day, is this bad for longevity?
  9. Cryorig H7 basically constant 1000rpm so idle isn't too high. No OC at all, I don't think speeds have gone higher than 4000mhz/ I can upload screenshots later, but at 5 mins of Prime 95 its around 3750 MHz at an avg of 80C Even with minimum cpu power at 5% I get 1.41 volts that just randomly spike up every 5 seconds or so. Should I get a return on my processor?
  10. Even though I am not the most techy guy out there, I built my PC recently and I think there are some problems that are coming from the temperature reading. Would it be related to anything on these attatchments? I'm not sure these problems are coming from, or how to fix them.
  11. What if I shorted something out on the motherboard?
  12. So my setup was Ryzen 5 2600x gskill 2x8gb ram cryorig h7 cpu fan sapphire nitro+ rx 580 750w gold evga psu msi b450 motherboard My PC was fine, I built it and used for 4 days, until I noticed CPU was in abnormal temperatures. So I disassembled PC, unplugged everything, and reapplied my thermal paste. I reassembled my PC, and everything was fine until I plugged my PC back into the outlet, where the PC started up, all LEDS lit up and fans started, but monitor showed no signal. I have tried taking out the cmos battery for 30 min, reseating ram, rreseating graphics card, switching ram slots, shorting JBA1 for 20 seconds, disconnecting from psu and holding power button for 2min, nothing has worked. Is there another solution?
  13. This is what i got after. Does it look like i need more in the middle of the chip?
