Mr. Mobius's Achievements

  1. In your latest video( https://youtu.be/bfrQ1_X6gS4 ), you mentioned how some windows computers get bogged down by not javeing files in the most appropriate places. Maybe a tech quirky on what should go where and why?
  2. Why you should/shouldn't update your drivers, and maybe a follow up on how to update them? (Don't know if this follows the rules, because I honestly don't know how to update them)
  3. Blown capacitor, Short Circuit, static build-up maybe since there's a thunderstorm nearby and lightning is just caused by tons and tons of static electricity. Other than that not a clue, also I'm not a professional or know nearly as much about electronics as a lot of people on this forum. On a forgotten note it could have also just overheated in that area.
  4. I'm currently doing Gen ed for my associates and then going off to fort hays state for clinical speech pathology. This will also be my first year in college since I graduated this last May.
  5. New, and would prefer windows but willing to try Chromebook.
  6. So I am a new college student looking for a good laptop for anywhere between three and five hundred bucks. I'm trying to get good performance and long battery life together but would take performance over battery life. I do not like apple and we would prefer to do windows instead of Linux. I am also not very tech-savvy and do not know what I am looking for. So something affordable is the best option for me. I am willing to go both above and below of my price range. But I just need suggestions on laptops that needs to my purpose.
