  1. I've been going through lots of reviews and searches but I'm having a hard time finding a monitor that hits the criteria and has good reviews. There have been a couple I've found that come close but then it'll turn out that it has black smearing when in games or scrolling which I *hate* on my current monitor. Do any of you have experience with a monitor that you can recommend in this price range? I'll link my top pick right now below but I've heard mixed things about it on the internet... https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-VG34VQL1B-DisplayPort-Adjustable-DisplayHDR/dp/B08LCMYT54/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=ultrawide+gaming+monitor&qid=1638385538&refinements=p_n_feature_twelve_browse-bin%3A17726584011%2Cp_n_size_browse-bin%3A3547808011|3547809011%2Cp_85%3A2470955011&rnid=2470954011&rps=1&s=pc&sr=1-6
  2. Are you viewing the right link? For me the card is $300 and the NZXT case is $70. Also everything says its in stock
  3. Budget (including currency): $1200 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Modern Warfare, Rainbow Six, Minecraft, Rust Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/1nvasi0n/saved/nCWqpg I included the parts list I already have in the link above. As far as I can see it's all compatible and is about the speed my buddy wants. Are there any spots I can cut costs to improve others? Or just overall save money? Thanks!
  4. I actually already have a spare copy of windows 10 so with that in mind I'd rather just run things off my main MacBook
  5. Yeah I was gonna say I just heard a whole bit on it while listening to the ATP podcast a week or so ago so I know its possible
  6. I'm looking to buy an external SSD to use with my 2019 MacBook Pro so that I can install bootcamp on it instead of using it on my internal drive. I only need to use it for a few classes so it doesn't need to be huge or insanely fast. Do you guys have any recommendations? For the size around 128 gigs is probably plenty of storage. Thanks!
  7. Hello, I just did a battery swap using ifixits guide but for some reason Face ID won't scan anymore but the camera works. I didn't even touch it during the repair so do you guys know what happened? Front camera still works but dot projector isn't shooting anything out

  9. I just did a screen repair on an iPhone 7 plus and swapped over the original home button. Everything works on it and it boots up at normal speed, but for some reason touch ID doesn't work. The home button clicks and functions as expected but it wont scan the fingerprints any more even though it's the original button. Any ideas?
  10. I’m looking for a replacement back class or housing for my s10+ specifically in cardinal red. I can seem to find replacement everything in every color except for red. Can someone point me in the right direction?
  11. So my dorm only has one ethernet port and I'm looking to hook up my pc and my switch at the same time. They won't be used at the same time, but I'd rather not be constantly switching which one is plugged into the wall so I'm looking for a cheap ethernet switch for GAMERS. Here's one I found on Amazon, is it any good? https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Splitter-Optimization-Unmanaged-TL-SG105/dp/B00A128S24/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=network%2Bswitch&qid=1565940415&s=gateway&sr=8-3&th=1
  12. I'll definitely take you up on that offer if I go this route! Thanks!
  13. So would it keep the minecraft directory the same on both computers assuming they were connected to the internet?
  14. What would the vpn do in this scenerio?
  15. Would it work when I leave the house with my laptop though? Basically I'm trying to play on the same world both at home and on the go without using Realms
  16. The "Problem" So basically what I'm trying to do is create a seamless way to play on my single player Minecraft Java Edition save files between my computers without using a realm (I want to be able to play offline). I'm willing to deal with some strangeness , but basically I want a solution where I won't have to drag files around. Below I'll list the computers I'm trying to do this with as well as other stuff I can use that might be helpful in finding a solution The Hardware and Software PC on Windows 10 Macbook (not so) Pro - Bootcamp installed but not preferred USB thumb drive with USB C and USB A outputs (is outputs the right word? Probably not. Oh well.) Microsoft OneDrive (Provided through school) Possible Solutions One possibility could be to make Minecraft runnable from the USB drive that I have, but it would probably be slow especially on my main PC and it still wouldn't solve the issue of needing to move the save file between the mac and windows versions of Minecraft. Another possibility would be if there was a way to link the Minecraft save directory to a folder in OneDrive, which I'm not sure is possible. I'm pretty sure this would be the best solution, but I wouldn't know how to do it. Please keep in mind that I would prefer not to have to use bootcamp when I play Minecraft on my Mac, but I can if I need to. Thanks for the help!
  17. What's flex mode? I'm guessing it's when ram cards aren't the same size?
  18. So I'm planning on buying this ASUS laptop and it comes with a single 16gb stick of ram. Dual channel is ideal for gaming so I'm planning on also getting an extra 8gb stick of ram that's the same speed, and I was wondering if it was compatible. I know sometimes system manufacturers will try to lock stuff down to only use their ram for some reason so I just wanted to confirm that this would work before I waste money on ram I can't use. Thanks!! 19. Yeah I was worried the old look would cost extra... Your setup sounds pretty cool though! Here's some different cassette players I found on Amazon, any of them stick out to you? The first one in particular seems to be what I'm looking for since it said something about being able to record to the cassette tape, but the smaller ones are more portable obviously. https://www.amazon.com/QFX-RETRO-39-Shoebox-Recorder-Player/dp/B076W2F1GV/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=old+school+cassette+player&qid=1555267339&s=gateway&sr=8-1 https://www.amazon.com/Reshow-Cassette-Player-Compatible-Computers/dp/B018WBUJBS/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=old+school+cassette+player&qid=1555267339&s=gateway&sr=8-2 And these are the cassette tapes themselves that I kept seeing get recommended https://www.amazon.com/Maxell-108562-PacksMaxell-Recording-Protective/dp/B00006IAAL/ref=pd_bxgy_107_img_2/146-7172011-8419714?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00006IAAL&pd_rd_r=94b7196d-5ee5-11e9-921f-93d945d215dc&pd_rd_w=CFlMD&pd_rd_wg=sZpXY&pf_rd_p=a2006322-0bc0-4db9-a08e-d168c18ce6f0&pf_rd_r=DNTVRNXPGNNXBVDTBW85&psc=1&refRID=DNTVRNXPGNNXBVDTBW85 https://www.amazon.com/Maxell-108575-Optimally-Designed-Recording/dp/B000087NBW/ref=pd_sim_229_9?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000087NBW&pd_rd_r=208ab10e-5ee6-11e9-8078-db1490754bb9&pd_rd_w=voqnu&pd_rd_wg=gXe5L&pf_rd_p=90485860-83e9-4fd9-b838-b28a9b7fda30&pf_rd_r=QYMT3Y7824NG7AE1J8YZ&psc=1&refRID=QYMT3Y7824NG7AE1J8YZ
  20. So I need help finding something i can use to put audio files from my computer onto a cassette tape, as well as something to listen to the tapes with using headphones (Sony walkman type of thing I guess). I was searching around on Amazon and doing some searching, but honestly I have no idea what the heck I'm looking at. If any of you guys know of a good old school looking tape recorder and an old school looking way to listen to the tapes that would be great! If we can stick to the classic look aesthetic too that would be great, but I'm not trying to break the bank either since it's for a prom thing. tl,dr: Need to listen to/ put recordings of my voice on a cassette tape I want it to look old and be relatively cheap I'm confused and scared. Thanks!
