  1. Okay, I don’t know why I’m so paranoid but thank you!
  2. So if it is a root kit how could I get rid of it, if I even have a virus.
  3. I scanned for rootkits too and nothing came back, what could a root kit do?
  4. Yeah I know but I just don’t want to have a RAT that is watching me, listening to me, and stealing all of my passwords it just gives me extreme paranoia. So if I wanted to format it would I delete partitions before format then do a full format and then once it’s done formatting create new partitions? I have three drives so does simply right clicking format on the two drives without windows work well enough and then doing a full format on my windows drive. Sorry if that sounds complicated I’m not very good at explaining.
  5. Hello, currently I have no clue wether or not I have a virus Malwarebytes and Webroot say I don’t but I don’t want to take any risks. If I do a full format on my pc can anything survive like a RAT or some other virus. I just want to make sure I have nothing left. I probably don’t even have a virus I’m just paranoid as I downloaded some Farming Simulator Mods off some websites.
  6. I've come to the point where I don't care and want to reset my pc entirely and wipe everything, however, when I try to do it I get stuck at 1%. I've been going to Settings, then Recovery and Reset this PC. Then I click remove everything and all drives and then remove files and clean the drive so that it is totally and completely cleaned. However, it just gets stuck at 1%. I've had this issue every time I've down it before however, I managed to fix it I just can't remember how I did it. If anyone could help me that would be great! I'm also using Windows 10
  7. I did open a .exe file which is how I got the RAT I believe I'm running all these antivirus scans and stuff because I have so much downloaded on my PC that I don't want to lose.
  8. Hello, recently I was just browsing the web and installing some things for my computer and I downloaded a suspicious file and my antivirus luckily caught it and it was from a website known as ronin.black and named Backdoor.NJRat however I'm sure it is still somewhere on my computer as it is made to bypass Malwarebytes. I was wondering what I should do to eliminate this virus as I don't want to be apart of a botnet or my computer being mined on for cryptocurrency or anything of the sort. Thank you ahead of time and sorry if this is the wrong subforum.
  9. I think it's been doing this from the start. How should I go about plugging in the pump cable? I've never done this kind of stuff before.
  10. How do I fix pump failure? I bought this as a pre-built from cyberpower.
  11. Hello, recently my CPU has been running very hot around 85-100 C with 0-10% load. I have been doing some sketchy stuff so I don't know if this is like a bitcoin miner or what. http://munchyman.club/images/CAM_aVg2CaxgIe.png - CAM Data CyberpowerPC - https://pastebin.com/ntW4SMts
  12. Well currently with 16GB I am using it all when I play games like Rust and Fortnite and other games. Sometimes I also like to run them at the same time and I need more ram dedicated to the game. So it doesn’t matter what DDR4 RAM I get it doesn’t matter it will just run at the slowest speed that I have so it would be better to get the same speed and DDR4 correct? Also if it said SDRAM in the title does that make any difference?
  13. Hello, I am planning to add more RAM to my system, currently, I have G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2x 8GB) (Dual Channel) 3000MHZ DDR4 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM. So, if I wanted to add more what would I have to stick too? Would I be able to get any DDR4 RAM or would it have to be more like DDR4 RAM that is 3000MHz or anything else. So pretty much I am just wondering what kind of RAM I have to stick too when adding it to my system.
  14. It was vibrating, however, I have been hearing a weird sound coming from it like it's not full or something. Kind of a loud sound aswell.
  15. Too my knowledge the CPU isn't overclocked however it may be It shouldn't be though. I am currently using a CyberpowerPC Asetek 550LC (White Color) 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler (Single Standard 120MM Fan) as my CPU cooler. Thank you! Also, what tools do you recommend using?
  16. Hello, recently I have been looking at my temperatures on my PC parts using CAM and Afterburner and noticed that my CPU has been running insanely hot - 90-100c while under low loads. The CPU is an Intel Core i7-8700K so its a new model as well. I'm not very good at PC parts so I don't know if this is thermal paste issues and if it is that I don't know how to go about fixing that or anything - Thank you! Edit: The CPU to my knowledge isn't overclocked, I'm currently using a CyberpowerPC Asetek 550LC (White Color) 120mm Liquid Cooling CPU Cooler (Single Standard 120MM Fan)
  17. Took off the side panel and its still at 80C and increasing as time goes.
  18. Okay I'll try this. Also, do you guys think that it would be a problem if it was facing downwards?
  19. Is there anything I could do to get it to stop being so hot? Besides making the fan speeds 100%.
  20. It isn't the Founders Edition, its just a pre-built from Cyberpower and its the cheapest one because it only has 1 fan so if I get a replacement I feel like its still going to be overheating like it is. So, as you guys have said it is the biggest killer of PC Parts so, how long do you think I have before it starts to slow down or even break? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126188 That is the card I have.
  21. Hello, I have an ASUS GTX 1080Ti, and it only has one fan, so it gets very hot when it runs games such as Fortnite. The average temperature is about 85C. I was wondering if it could damage my GPU and make it run slower with it running at such high temperatures all the time. My card: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126188 Thanks and have a great day!
  22. Hello, recently my fans on my GPU have been going from just normal and decently quiet to super loud and obnoxious. However, when I go onto MSI Afterburner, it says that my fan speeds on my GPU are still low and reasonable but I don't think its the CPU. My temperature is also super low sometimes when it happens it just is super random, and I don't know what to do. Thanks and have a great day!
