  1. I’m looking to buy a new monitor this Black Friday and have found 3 options all for around the same price and was just wondering which one would be recommended. I have a 8600k and a 1070 in my rig so which monitor would be the best fit? Msi 24in 144hz 1080p curved, Acer 28in 60hz 4K, Acer 27in 75hz 1440p, Thanks for any help
  2. @MiNy @Eastman51 Thanks for the help, I'll try either RMA the PSU or return it and buying a new one.
  3. I have removed and put the side panel on several times and just checked that it is installed correctly so I don't think that would be the problem. Also the sound only happens sometimes and seems to come from the PSU region of the case.
  4. The only cables that are not routed through the build in cable management are the cpu power cable which goes across the back of the MB and the hd audio cable which passes by the PSU. All the other excess cables are put between the PSU and hard drive cage.
  5. I currently have it sitting on my desk and when I take the back side panel off the noise seems to stop which is why I am somewhat confused
  6. So, I just finished my new build and after using it for a couple of hours I started to hear a strange sound that would start and stop. It sounded kinda like a cable interfering with a fan. I checked that no cables were interfering with fans and they weren't. I suspect the problem is due to the psu not getting enough air through the bottom of my case but I am not sure. I have a NZXT S340 elite case and a Corsair CX500 PSU. Another idea I had was that my PSU isn't high enough wattage as it is 500w but I have an 8600k oc to 4.7GHz at 1.35v, a cryorig h7 quad lumi, asus strix 1070, ssd, hdd, and 4 case fans. Overall I'm not sure what the issue is and was looking for some help. Thanks
