Darkimane got a reaction from G9XFTW in Looking for a good budget B450 board.
For $161.49 you can get a Asus TUF X570 if you like that, it should be able to handle a 2700x nicely https://pcpartpicker.com/product/dmGnTW/asus-tuf-gaming-x570-plus-wi-fi-atx-am4-motherboard-tuf-gaming-x570-plus-wi-fi

There are a few other options like the MSI B450 Pro Gaming Carbon for $159.99 however the TUF X570 mentioned above is probably your best bet for the price https://pcpartpicker.com/product/mcjNnQ/msi-b450-gaming-pro-carbon-max-wifi-atx-am4-motherboard-b450-gaming-pro-carbon-max-wifi

I hope this helps  there are many other boards on the market so feel free to have a look on here
    https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#sort=-price&X=0,16436&V=8000,6001,6000,4000&s=33

And you can get a good idea on which boards are good or not over here

Darkimane got a reaction from Eigenvektor in How many Storage devices can I put in a raid 0 configuration?
in theory, assuming you can store, power etc all the drives and you have enough space on your controller/controllers it is limitless however with raid 0 being non-redundant you wouldn't want to put too many drives as it vastly increases your chance of a failure

Somewhere in storage at a previous residence is my original 286 system from 1987.  A Tandy 1000TX.  286 8mhz processor, only an 8 bit expansion bus.  I pimped it out with an (at the time) spectacularly awesome Ad-Lib sound card, a 40mb "Hard Card" (the motherboard had no IDE controller, so it was an 8 bit expansion card with a mount to hold a 3 1/2" 40mb IDE drive), a 2400 baud modem, and an extra 128k of RAM used for the video adapter.  My old room mate and I are no longer on speaking terms, or I would go over and try to retrieve it.  Man, there were some great games back then!  The original Sid Meier Microprose games like Pirates or M1 Tank Platoon, any of the Lucasarts sims games like Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe or Battle of Britain.  Man, memory lane!

You Can Do It From The Settings,
Please Save All Your Work And Close Your Applications Etc. Since This Does Require Restarting Your Pc.

Simply Go To Settings> Update & Security> Recovery> Advanced Start Up (Click Restart Now)> Troubleshoot> Advanced Options> UEFI Firmware Settings / Bios Firmware Settings> Restart.

This Should Boot You Straight Into The Bios, Without The Need To Do Anything (Like Spamming Del Or F12 Etc.)

The Kraken G12 Itself Costs Around $29.99 Or £24.99 And Is Compatible With Many Aio's On The MArket.

I'm Sure There's One Or Two Better Parts And Better Deals, However I'd Say This Is A Good Starting Point. Also Change The Retailers To Ones Which Your Comfortable To Purchase From.

(Just To Say You Can Get Corsair Vengance LPX 3600MHz For A Bit Cheaper, However I Chose The Trident Z Because I Feel It Would Suit The Looks Of The Build A Bit Better.)

However Theres Literally Thousands Of Coolers To Choose From And Plenty That Will Do The Job As Good If Not Better.

We have visited most of our factories to check in on the conditions and we will be making trips to China as time permits to hit the other ones and continue to check in.

Frankly speaking, one was on the edge of what we'd consider acceptable and we are looking for an alternate supplier. The rest were definitely OK and we are comfortable continuing to work with those suppliers.

Right now it's a very small business unit for us (1000s of units per month vs.10s of thousands) We haven't grown to the point where we are ready to follow our supply chain all the way through to where the factories procure their raw fabric/dyes/tooling/etc but it's something we're cognizant of and we will strive to improve as we ramp up our scale.

Might not be the most amazing answer.. I'd love to say "yes all of our merch is made by disabled veterans being paid 3x the going industry rate", but it's the honest one.
