it will work and really is a terrible idea the alcohol will need parts rated for alcohol so a pump tubing and O rings all need a rating and any gaskets in the system need to be changed also on top of that you have the boiling point of alcohol to deal with since it will boil before the water and pressurize your system if it got hot enough so you could blow out hoses in a extended gaming session.

here is craft computing doing it with whiskey.

EggyRepublic got a reaction from bitsandpieces in Radeon 3080 vs RTX 2070 vs CPU rendering.
Comparing these three cards: RTX 2070, (anticipated) AMD Radeon 3080 and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (12 cores at 4.2 GHz), how would they perform in 3D rendering in applications like Blender?

I'm mainly interested in how the two graphics card compare, and also how much faster they are than CPU.

I had a Gigabyte reference RX VEGA 64 (I've since sold it off and replaced it with a Gigabyte RX VEGA 64 Gaming OC), pic below:

I also have a PowerColor RX VEGA 64 Red Devil, do note the massive heatsink (the Gigabyte Gaming OC runs about just as cool), pic is together with my Palit RTX 2080 Ti Gaming Pro OC, not exactly a small card, but the Red Devil is easily longer and a tad wider)

I ran these cards in CF mode, with the Red Devil as primary, and the stock card as secondary as shown below (do note that the bottom card is getting cool exterior air via the two fans below, I have since increased it to three intake fans), the Red Devil on top gets less cool air than it:

Yet, look at these temp readings, guess which runs cooler......I don't have to tell you, do I? Basically, I'm advising you to get one with a better cooler, the Red Devil is expensive, but the Gigabyte RX VEGA 64 Gaming OC is a no frills card that's less costly, Sapphire Nitro+ is good, but expensive as well.
