  1. I found this used 4 CPU server motherboard for $39 on Walmart https://www.walmart.com/ip/CN-0RD317-N4822-FD006-Genuine-Dell-Poweredge-6800-Intel-Quad-S604-Server-Motherboard-RD317-Intel-Socket-604-Motherboards/328903637?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=7860&adid=22222222227158566721&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=268135585913&wl4=pla-445970935861&wl5=9004233&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=117584434&wl11=online&wl12=328903637&wl13=&veh=sem and refurbished Xeon E5-2670 for $20 on serversupplies https://www.serversupply.com/products/part_search/pid_lookup.asp?pid=128782&gclid=Cj0KCQiAurjgBRCqARIsAD09sg-9ZXZnzH-um3fW6_kboRnC1QZdBzMGwi0yBIqLGCPimio7lOVHt_8aAqMlEALw_wcB which would come to a total of $119. Is this legit?
  2. I would want my PC to be special, so I have this idea to create graphic designs on cardboard paper and install it in my case in various parts. What I'm wondering is would it be safe to the airflow inside and would it work well?
  3. How well would it work to just fill up a liquid cooler with vodka? It would be cool to go around and be able to say that your PC runs on Vodka.
  4. I will be doing 3D modelling and rendering with Blender, video editing and gaming. Currently, I have these parts: - Ryzen 5 2600 - RTX 2070 - Strix B350-F Gaming - Ripjaws V-series 2400 MHz RAM - Crucial MX500 SSD - EVGA 650 Watt 80+ gold PSU My main questions are: 1) will the motherboard be sufficient for future CPUs, such as 12 core CPUs? How will it handle overclocking? I am willing to get another motherboard under $200. 2) will my RAM be fast enough to handle overclocking? 3) is RTX 2070 a good choice for 3D rendering? If Navi proves to be superior to RTX 2070, my plan would be to sell my RTX 2070 and get Navi instead. This would waste $100 (I bought the card at $480 and it would probably sell at $350 used) but I desperately need a computer right now and waiting is not an option. Another thing I considered would be buying a cheap 1050 TI to hold me for 2 months. What do you think?
  5. How is this a troll post? I want to know how the RX 3080 compares to a RTX 2070. Maybe someone knows from leaked information.
  6. Comparing these three cards: RTX 2070, (anticipated) AMD Radeon 3080 and AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (12 cores at 4.2 GHz), how would they perform in 3D rendering in applications like Blender? I'm mainly interested in how the two graphics card compare, and also how much faster they are than CPU.
  7. I'm buying the default version AMD releases with the blower style cooler since it's $100 cheaper than alternatives. Is that good enough?
  8. My usage: I will need the card for 3D modeling/rendering, video editing and gaming. I will be buying a FreeSync monitor regardless of which card I choose According to benchmarks, the two seem very close in performance, but the Vega seems to be much faster in 3D rendering. Also, I read somewhere that when rendering, the Vega is able to utilize system RAM when the VRAM is full while the 2070 isn't able to, is this true? What are you thoughts?
  9. is the ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING good? it only have 3 eggs on newegg because people say it keeps breaking and having problems. Should I get it?
  10. Just stop and think for a second. Why in the wide wide world would someone sell a graphics card that can easily be sold, even used, for $100, sell it for $15? If I were to tell you to sell a graphics card quickly, what price would you give it? You would probably give it a low price, but definitely not $15 unless you are a millionaire feeling generous. And generous millionaires won't be selling graphics card for $15, they would just do giveaways.
  11. I have Steelseries Arctis 3 bluetooth, and when plugged in through the 3.5mm connection, the bass seems to be louder in my left ear. Why is that? My ears and my computer is not at fault since the same issue does not arise from my Turtlebeach Recon X50. Also, the left ear cup squeaks quite a bit. Note: it was ordered through Amazon on June 30.
  12. I want a skin for my Steelseries Arctis 3 Bluetooth, but I can't find any. Should I just buy a random laptop skin and cut it? The side of the earcup is pretty flat so a skin should work.
  13. I know Audio Technica is a professional monitoring headphone, but hear me out. I'm debating between buying the Audio Technica M30x and the Steelseries Arctis 3 Bluetooth I want a pair of headphones for music, gaming and occasional music/video production. It would be of great convenience to have wireless headphones since I will be bringing it to school everyday. My main concern is, how is the audio quality of the Steelseries Arctis 3? How is the audio quality when using Bluetooth? How about when it is plugged in using the headphone jack? How does the audio quality of the headset itself when plugged in compare to the Audio Technica M30x? If the difference is little between the two pairs, I'll take the Arctis 3. I really like the look of the Arctis 3. After all, I still care about how I look
  14. How good is the sound quality of bluetooth headphones? Is there a delay or loss of quality? Is it good enough for editing music or gaming? The specific headphone I have in question is the Arctis 3 Bluetooth. Also, when I plug the Arctis 3 Bluetooth headphone into my computer or phone, does it start sending audio through the cable rather than over Bluetooth so that I can experience better audio quality?
  15. I discovered I accidentally made a purchase on Amazon 4 hours after the purchase. It was still not shipped yet, but when I went to cancel all it says is "attempting to cancel" and "cancellation is not guaranteed". What will happen?
  16. I'm debating between three headphones: Steelseries Siberia 200 ($63), Steelseries Arctis 5 RGB ($87) and HyperX Cloud Core ($70). I'm leaning towards the Steelseries Arctis 5 RGB because the RGB gives you better skills, but I get the feeling that some people dislike the Arctis while almost all love the HyperX. Which one should I get? I want the Arctis 5 but what is your opinion on that headset? What are some of your headset recommendations? I game and make videos (sometimes music) and listen to music. I need a mic that can either retract or detach and cost below $90, and looks decently nice.
