  1. Thanks for the tips, I'll be setting everything up next month for my father's birthday!
  2. Thank you, i'll take the 5.1 then and mount them on the wall
  3. Short question, in a 5.1 the rear speakers have to be literally behind you or can they be on the sides?
  4. I'll try to plan for a 5.1, but I,m not sure i can install the speakers in the back
  5. And what about a 3.1? Is it a good option?
  6. This is the place of the TV, I'm not sure if a 5.1 would fit, tbh
  7. I'd like to gift a soundbar to my parents, and I am looking for something around 200€, max of 250€. It will be used for movies. Any suggestions?
  8. Ahhhhh, thats why. I'll take a look at some sff. Thank you! My budget is around 100-150€, in case you know one at this price. Continuous power shoud be around 100/200W, just to be sure (ryzen is 65W, plus ram and a sata SSD)
  9. Im making a PC as compact as possible. Right now i have a MATX Mobo, with a ryzen 2200G (no dedicated GPU). I am building the case myself, so as long as the connectors are compatible I can design the case to fit the PSU. I tried searching for Small ATX PSUs, Compact ATX PSUs and Small MATX PSUs,but there was no luck. Am I searching for the wrong thing?
  10. Nope, i am not a good craftsman (yet). A 2.1 will be then. Thank you all for the advice!
  11. I guess they were in the basement for a reason.. Okay, thanks for the info! Now that I think about it, could I reuse the boxes and put new drivers in there?
  12. Recently I found a couple of speakers on our basement, and I thought about using them for movies. The problem is: I have little to no idea what to do. If I search they say a lot of things about impedance, amplifiers, sensitivity and a lot of weird things. So, if someone could explain what should I do I'd really appreciate it. I have 2 different pairs: I could open one of this first pair and take a couple of pictures of the driver. There is also a mount for a smaller one (a tweeter I guess?). The first image the numbers marked are: 2, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 39. This other pair was glued and i didn't risk breaking it to see what is inside, so I just took a photo of the back: I guess now i have to look a 4 ohm amp and connect it all? I guess the 6 ohm ones will work fine if i understanded other posts correctly. Also I'm guessing a sub/woofer will help to improve the experience, and a couple of tweeters on those mounts would be nice too. Any guidance? Where or what to buy? Any recommendation about the placement and installation of the speakers? Thank in advance!
  13. Are you sure the BIOS will recognize it? If it does I'll take the x5690
  14. Ok, to turn on short the pins for a moment. To turn off short briefly to let the SO shutdown or hold to force it. If you have no SO it will shutdown inmediatly Bridge only the power pins! Also you could do as velcade said and use the buttons on the case, it will be easier
