  1. Thanks for the false information and leaving my hanging. If you're gonna answer a question you aren't sure about, at least have the decency to say "pretty sure" next time.
  2. Yes, I even double checked and tried plugging them directly into the motherboard I/O. In the Sound dialogue, under Recording, it shows up with a green check mark and says it's the default device. However, it doesn't pick up anything I say. The green indicator bar next to it doesn't light up when I talk.
  3. You are sure? I bought that splitter and only the earbuds work but the mic isn't picking up anything.
  4. I need a 1-2 splitter to connect my apple earbuds that have a mic on them to my pc. The earbuds have a combo cord that has both the mic and the audio in it but my case as two separate jacks for audio out and mic. Will this adapter be compatible with apple earbuds and allow me to have the full functionality? If not, could someone link me to one that is? (Amazon please!) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071NDLCGC/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
  5. If you actually looked at that Amazon one you would see it is also incompatible with apple earbuds. The Ebay one I wouldn't take a gamble with and wait two months for it to ship from Hong Kong, just to find out it's also not compatible. So thank you but for your simple Google search but that was no help.
  6. I have a pair of apple earbuds with a mic that have only a single cord but my PC has two separate inputs, one for mic in and one for mic out. I can't find an adapter that's compatible with apple earbuds. I got a real kick out of all of the Chinese tech companies that had product pictures with their adapters in use with apple earbuds and then in their product description they explicitly state that their product isn't compatible with apple earbuds. I need an adapter from Amazon that isn't more than $10.
  7. I downloaded from MSI but not MB page. Should've checked that, thanks. The ugly lights are off now and my OCD is satisfied.
  8. Funny. Now can I have some actual help? Or should I use conductive copper tape?
  9. Nothing helpful that I could find on Google besides using MSI Mystic Lighting to possibly turn them off, which isn't working out since I just get a generic error message when I try to start the program (this platform does not support this application). I tried the MSI Gaming App too and the same thing happened. I'm looking for an alternate way of turning off the ugly yellowish LED strip along with the ez debug LED on the B350 PC Mate. Or if anyone has any insight into fixing the problem with Mystic Lighting? Specs: Windows 10 (unactivated) R3 1200 MSI GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC MSI B350 PC Mate
  10. What's the 'best' wifi adapter I could buy for under $20? Something decent enough to game on. I'm about 30 feet from my router and the signal has to pass through a couple walls.
  11. The PC is just over a week old. It's much more faint than that. I notice that whenever I put some stress on the card, it happens instantly and when I stop it goes away instantly. So, for example, if I leave or enter the nether, it happens while the world is loading in.
  12. Hey, one more thing. I've started hearing some very faint, albeit audible whines coming from the gpu. I'm almost positive. Can't quite put my finger on it but they sound like tiny, high pitched whines. I've been playing some Minecraft on it and I noticed this weird occurrence when I look directly down at the ground, these high pitched whines start. When I look up, they go away in an instant. After looking at MSI's website and seeing poorly-translated directions and navigation and having a hard time figuring out just where to find some technical help, I'm thinking about just sending the damn thing back to Amazon and returning it for a new one. I'm guessing it would be a lot quicker too.
  13. Uninstalled and reinstalled nvidia drivers with DDU and no luck. Fan noise is still just as loud. Under load I think it would be acceptable noise levels but at idle I think it sounds too loud. It's not horrific but it doesn't seem normal to me. I'm not really sure where to go from here?
  14. I don't think it supports it. And usage is 5%...
