  1. I have an AOC C3583fq monitor for a bit over a year now it has been pretty good. Just today I notice a small bug (insect) the size of like 2 pixels is on my screen I go to blow it off and it doesn't move I give my monitor a very gentle touch and it's still there. Meaning it's under the glass of my Ultrawide . So I call AOC and I talk to someone named Richard. He tells me this is a very unusual case and warranty won't cover this as there is nothing wrong with the monitor which I said ok what am I supposed to do. He said go to Best Buy and have them blow compressed air into the monitor so I said ok Ty bye. I call GeekSquad and tell them the story and they said they could help me. So I said would you blow compressed air into it John says no we need to open it up so me a nervous and broke 15 yo asks how much will that cost he says 99.99. I said ok Ty bye. I call AOC back and tell them what Best Buy said and I asked if I brought it to them to open I up and Best Buy not me broke something would that be covered by warranty the other person on the line says no in a very rude tone. I said I don't want to open it up myself and he says don't. So what am I supposed to do. AOC doesn't want to help and Best Buy wants to charge me money I don't have and if they brake something it's my problem. PLEASE help me
  2. So... on Cyber Monday I bought a Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 way below the MSRP of $499 USD or $663 Canadian Rupees for $479.99 Canadian Rupees or $361.35 USD. IMO, it was quite a steal considering the other Vega 64 are about $750+ CAD or $565+ USD right now. Before purchase I read the reviews and they were all pretty good except they all had the same CON. The card would get too hot/ thermal throttle. That's it. So I bought the card and its on its way in shipping. During my time of excitement building up, I thought how will I cool this thing? So I though to try and Liquid Cool it. Except, I've never done any liquid cooling in my life not even with an AIO. So I hopped on EKWB and got confused as to what exactly I need to buy to cool this thing. For example the size of the Radiator, to be able to cool a card with an almost 300W power draw, 295W to be exact. Do I go for 240mm, 280mm, or 360mm. For a Reservoir, does the capacity it holds even matter? Should I get a Reservoir/Pump Combo. Or should I just get a EK Fluid Gaming Kit or should I get a EK-MLC (Modular Liquid Cooling). I'm not even gonna consider EK Configurator because it scares my wallet. My System Specs In case you need them CPU: Ryzen 2700X MOBO: Asus X470 Prime Pro CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Prism RAM: Corasir Vengeance RGB GPU: Sapphire Vega 64 PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3, 80 Plus Gold 750W CASE: NZXT H440 Help or Suggestion is greatly appreciated Thanks.
  3. So, I have a fairly new laptop from Dell. It's the Dell Inspiron 15 5570 (i5 8th Gen). I didn't really notice this while buying it but now while using it I've noticed how pointless a CD Drive is in 2018. So my idea was to 1) Remove the CD Drive which I've done before and replace it with a USB hub of the CD Drive's size and wire it to the motherboard or 2) Try to 3D Print a part like the CD Drive except it has USB and Thunderbolt cut outs and then wire it to the motherboard. Could either idea work or could neither work? Any feedback would be great!

  5. All this help is truly appreciated Thanks guys
  6. Still working on unbending the pins here is the progress
  7. That’s not my thermal paste application that’s AMD’s straight out of the box I didn’t take away or add anything
  8. I bought a Ryzen 7 2700X and put on the stock cooler wraith prism to which I opened the UEFI Bios and I was getting 50’C even to my stupid 14 year old brain that clicked something’s not right so I thought the Thermal waste was the suspect and while removing the cooler from my motherboard the Thermal paste decided and hey, I wanna be superglue today and while taking out the cooler out came the Ryzen 7 2700X ripped out of the AM4 Socket with bent pins and still stuck to the cooler. I tried calling AMD Support but Support was closed, I tried opening a ticket and I tried tweeting them. Take note AMD says warranty does not cover bent pins but this I think is an acception. Any help would greatly but appreciated as I ball my eyes out
