  1. Due to my network limit I can’t upload video for now but I will try. More specifically, I divide my type c plug into face A and face B, I can charge my tablet with face A towards me (like screen sides) and can’t charge it with face B towards me.
  2. Recently I find my Pixel C from my storeroom, and plug a USB-C flash disk on it. However, I find my USB disk only worked with one side I plug in, which won’t happen in my computer. Then I tried PD adapter and C to C cable, it can be charged only in one side. But a common adapter with C to A cable can charge Pixel C with both sides. Did I broke my tablet’s USB-C port? Or this is a compatibility problem?
  3. Thanks for your reply, now I am curious about whether there are laptop really without noticeable coil whine
  4. Well, sometimes I will writing my essay until midnight. Coil whine can be a little annoying in a quiet room.
  5. Thank god I get your reply, finally I find somebody have the same situation with me. Once I see a theory that everyone has different sensitivity to high pitch noise. I can always notice coil whine from all of the laptop I owned and some AC adapter. Maybe coil whine is commonly exist for person like me.
  6. For years I am disturbed by noticing coil whine in my laptop, and I've done tons of research on it. Here are my conclusion and I wonder guys here can share your ideas with me and help others troubled by the same question. My first laptop was ASUS (can't remember the model) which equipped with a i7-4710HQ CPU and a GTX 850M graphic card. During a upgrade I removed the DVD drive and HDD, I still noticed there is some tiny noise coming out from motherboard and AC adapter even cooling fans were stop, and I search on the web digging out it is coil whine. Still it is small and just acceptable, but nightmare came after I bought a new laptop. My second laptop was a Clevo P950HR equipped with a i7-8750H CPU and a GTX 1070 Max-Q graphic card, it has a high pitch coil whine even can be heard while cooling fan works on full speed. I ask for a RMA three times but each return was worse then ever. Now I bought a Omen 15 equipped with i7-10750H CPU and a RTX 2070 Max-Q graphic card. The coil whine still exits. I am already tired of asking for a RMA. Before I post here, I post my questions on many others forum, finding out some users notice that all laptop he used has coil whine, some users say they got a laptop without coil whine after time of RMA. So here, I want to expand my sample about this problem and see if it's a common problem.
