What's with people making accounts just to beg for free hardware. If we veterans and the moderation staff don't get free hardware, what makes people think a newbie is going to?

I've worked in the field since the 90's my advice. run screaming..
 
There are so many great fields to work in that don't involve the headache, computer in general never run right.

Of course, and many other things, too. You can't just take a ROM intended for one phone and slap it on another, unless the ROM has specifically been designed to support both phones.
