  1. Do you have a gpu overclocking program installed such as MSI Afterburner, EVGA Precision, or Asus GPU Tweak?
  2. Check if your GPU or CPU is overheating, cause those are likely the causes.
  3. Yeah I wouldn't pay extra for just the higher clocked 8086k, the i7 8700k is just the same thing and cheaper.
  4. This is the driver for your exact laptop model https://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/downloads/DS104036. Windows 10 could have installed a broken one.
  5. A couple of these http://www.coolermaster.com/case/case-accessories/4-in-3-device-module/, and maybe one of those NZXT RGB controllers https://www.nzxt.com/products/hue. Imagine if you could find this http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001962.
  6. Yeah that's new. Same with how images will not have a full size version anymore.
  7. Go to start and type Device Manager, and give us a screenshot of what you have under Network Adapters. That way we can find the drivers you will need to update.
  8. That's pretty good for an overclock with the GTX 1050TI I have mines at overclocked using the V/F curve editor and +800 on the memory. Also the MF120L does include 4 mounting screws.
  9. Seems like they do include the Lighting Node PRO.
  10. You can get this (http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cooling-rgb-accessories/rgb-led-controller/) and connect those fans to control the RGB. Also those fans are not bad, they are pretty great.
  11. How about the Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1? Those have dual front fans. You can also look at the Vivo Case-V06 (Looks ugly but full of vents): https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3BG4VZ3198&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  12. They were asking for help to purchase another motherboard and CPU. That and it's an OEM board so it might have less power phases that might not support a better CPU.
  13. Acer uses custom OEM motherboards so if you be limited on cpu choices. But since you are upgrading the CPU and motherboard, all you really need to know is how many watts the PSU has and what type of RAM it has. So that pc you have is LGA 1151 socket, of the Skylake family. That CPU is pretty limiting since it is a dual core and multiplayer games will suffer.

Thanks for the help LOVE YOU lolololol

No problem, glad I could help.
  15. Yep it saved your overclock settings, so now you have to uninstall Afterburner and reinstall.
  16. Oh there's your issue, you maxed out the memory clock. Don't do that.
  17. Nothing to really worry about unless you go over the safe voltage limits or over the safe temperatures, which ever comes first.
  18. Yeah that was the same issue I had when it wasn't making complete contact. Make sure you don't tighten it too much.
  19. That sounds like LLC is on, which would give you a little more voltage to stay stable due to voltage ripples.
  20. Just looked at the manual and saw there is a program that Acer made for that laptop, go try installing Predator Sense and bind a hotkey for Always Use Discrete GPU. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6371?b=1 See if that works.
  21. Go to the Nvidia control panel and switch to use the gpu.

Hey! Whats up with the profile picture? I reall…

@Princess Cadence The Equestria Girls series isn't too bad. I like pretty much both series. But what really was nice was the fact that they used the movie to bridge the Season 7 and 8.
