  1. I have my laptop on a manual update schedule, but the update automatically downloads on my laptop it seems. So if you have auto-update off it shouldn't be an issue, my desktop has auto-update off and it hasn't downloaded any update yet. Also, hiii there Twilight!
  2. image source: venturebeat Source: MSPowerUser Good thing I didn't install that update on my laptop since it has been on for 8 days straight. But if you already installed it and have no issues then you are lucky. Source: TheWinCentral This update is way worse than I thought, hopefully Microsoft patches everything soon. Source: TechRadar Though the fix isn't really an actual reliable way, since users are having issues trying to rollback or even getting Windows to boot. The best way is to just create a backup image of Windows and just restore it if you are having issues.
  3. It looks like it's overheating and to compensate it just throttle itself, make sure the vents are clear from obstruction and try to the clean the dust from the vents. Also make sure that the fans are running.
  4. This is the best one out there for pretty much anyone: HWInfo64 and a combination of: Rivatuner Statistic.
  5. Ancient, basically the same age as my FX. It also uses the same architecture design as my FX.
  6. From the AsRock website for your CPU and board it shows the max you can do is 1 stick of single rank at 2933MHz.
  7. They do list that 280mm AIO do fit. But be warned you have 60mm of clearance in the front.
  8. Well I remember GamerNexus saying don't buy that card due to everything being bad with it. Might be a good idea to return that one and get a different card. It's also probably overheating due to the cooling design. Here is the article from GamerNexus, if you would like to read up on it: XFX RX 5700 XT THICC II Ultra Review: Hard Pass
  9. Have you tried fixing it with this method? How to use DISM command tool to repair Windows 10 image
  10. There is GitHub for open projects and all that sort.
  11. What games are you running?
  12. More cores means faster video rendering. But depends on your budget.
  13. I'm not 100% sure if I'm correct, but if someone could correct me. A transistor switches from 1 and 0, this is how the computer does arithmetic and communicates, so what this voltage is doing is to stabilise the transistor that sets the content of a memory address. So it's basically the voltage for the memory controller. But I don't know why yours is at 0 V.
  14. Oh right, I should have remembered that after watching GamerNexus explained the whole TDP thing. Lol, my Arctic Freezer 240 says it supports up to 300W TDP, but it struggles to keep my FX 8350 cooled.
  15. It supports up to 200W TDP and the CPU pulls out 95W TDP, so it's fine.
  16. Yeah it's pretty fine like everyone said. Plus most modern motherboards have reinforced pcie slots so it won't destroy itself.
  17. Looks slightly sagging from the camera angle.
  18. You don't need that image, just install Windows 10 with the installation image on usb and get the driver package from here: Cool Site
  19. It should not. The 2700x is fast enough that you can pretty much run up to a RTX 2080Ti or the 5700XT.
  20. Resets the CMOS or resets the BIOS. Basically, overclocker's best friend.
  21. Page 23 or 1- 9 in physical manual. Do that and it should work.
  22. Reset the bios, there should be something in the motherboard manual with either shorting some pins, pushing a button or taking out the CMOS battery. Also, please list your motherboard model so we can help you.
  23. Sounds like something is shorting the board, try making sure you have all the motherboard mounts in the right place. Then double check that the plugs for the front panel are in the right order on the motherboard.
