According to Apples website it says 2018 models (not sure if that's what you have) top out at 4K 60Hz on all outputs.

As far as I'm aware though the LG OLEDs do not overscan at 1080p, though I just checked on my C1 and I wouldn't personally want to use 1080p on it, text looks really ugly due to how the upscaling works (though that was on Windows, I'd expect MacOS to exhibit the same problem).

I was able to get a spare parts kit that had a lot of fan and AIO cables by contacting support. In the picture, the cables that are horizontally oriented are the ones I was looking for.  Thanks for the suggestion.

    it's not entirely standard.

I'd contact NZXT Support and see if you can buy one.

connect the vu to one of the other colors or connect it off 12v off the psu but that will be 100% all the time. could connect it off a fan header too if you have one you can control

Zipties exist so just take out the pins and use zipties

stellarshy reacted to minibois in Is it possible to use the Intel LGA 1700 stock cooler on an older 115X motherboard?
From what I've seen, no it's not possible.

Some ASUS LGA 1700 motherboards - like this PRIME Z690-P - provide mounting options for both LGA 1700 and LGA 115X/1200 cooler and you can see there are four distinct (but still somewhat overlapping) holes provided:

That to me shows using an LGA 115X/1200 cooler on LGA 1700 is not possible without modifications (like these extra holes), so I'd assume the opposite is true too (as the LGA 115X/1200 boards don't have the hole spacing of LGA 1700).

I loved The Perfection on Netflix. Also I liked Apostle, but it can be too slow for some people.

El Cuerpo and The Orphanage are very good.

Recently re-watched Starship Troopers on Prime, truly a classic.

Battle: Los Angeles is on Netflix, IIRC. Was ripped to shreds by neckbeards at the time because it's sci-fi without a deeper meaning, but it's a pretty decent war film.

On Netflix, there's "Another Life". Haven't watched it yet, but it's about alien visitors and humans flying to their homeworld. Star of the show is that blonde chick with short hair from Battlestar Galactica (sry, forgot her name).

Otherwise, "Life" was pretty cool despite few really dumb plot holes, but the concept was freaking cool.

"Cloverfield" is also a must. All 3 movies, including Cloverfield Lane which I was hesitating to watch at first but then watched it anyway and goes well with the whole story.

Oh and you have to watch "The Mist". Not the series but the movie tho series were alright too. Incredible suspense, and probably most mindfuck ending of all movies I've seen in last 20 years, totally outside of Hollywood typial design.

No clue whats on Netflix , but maybe dark star? Its a John Carpenter and Dan O'Bannon film. Extremely low budget. the first 45minits had a 1k budget.

Taking into account that you can get at least $130 for that GTX 970, making this 1070 a super-value event.

I've only had a short time to play with it so far, but everything's working well, and it's a significant upgrade from my 970. Thanks again @stellarshy!

@stellarshy the G3 models do share the same pinouts and connectors, as do several other of the EVGA listings.
We have a big list of compatibility which you can find on our compatibility page here for reference:

There is absolutely no problem to pick the cables from the unit as it's the same manufacturer and model line up. There should be not a problem if you take from other manufacturer too, but that's a chance you don't want to take with component that you should value.
A 1000W power supply (80% efficient) will pull about 10 amps at full load. That's well within the specs of the cables.
Some companies do sell heavier duty cables, with larger wires in them, but there's no need in this case.
