  1. I was watching some reviews, it's not actually usable in 1ms mode, so count that as 3ms
  2. I mentioned it was an IPS, so you would pick legion over Samsung then?
  3. Thanks for the information, I will probably narrow it down to Samsung vs AOC, but yeah, I will probably also lean towards the 240Hz Edit: Curious, why you disregarded Lenovo Legion?
  4. I do. I'm also tempted to buy 240Hz one, but I am worried about quality. I will have that in mind I guess AOC has a great panel, and of those three 240Hz monitors I mentioned Legion has an IPS panel, Acer has TN and Samsung has VA. I like to play competitively sometimes, but it's not on the level that I'm making money of it.
  5. I'm looking to buy a new monitor, and I'm a little bit confused between these two mentioned in the title. More precisely, I was looking at AOC 24G2 as a lot of people are recommending it as leading in its class. But then again, should I add $100 more and take cheaper 240Hz? My budget is around $350, and in my country, for that amount of money, I can get the following monitors: Acer KG251QDbmiipx, Lenovo Legion Y25-25, Samsung LC27RG50FQUXEN What would you guys suggest? Thank you in advance!
  6. Should I try repasting it again because of this 10 degree difference between one half of the cpu and the other one?
  7. Update: It looks like paste spilled out, probably because I applied too much pressure while putting heat sink back on.. This time I just putted heat sink over and tighten the screws. New max temps after cinebech: (and old temps) 72 (84) 62 (68) 74 (93) 65 (71) 74 (86) 65 (75) Thanks for your help and time! Really appreciated!
  8. Can you explain me something about that please? What could go wrong? Can I see that I messed up when I open it? I will be repasting again, at least to be sure if that's the problem.
  9. And is it possible somehow that I didn't repaste it well enough?
  10. My question is should I? I mean should I be worried about this? Thanks.
  11. Lenovo Y530. Same way as dave2d. I repasted it even before installing windows, because my model didn't have ssd and I wanted to install one.. Here are some pics I took when I opened it up (and its a brand new laptop)
  12. Thanks for reply.. I repasted both cpu and gpu with noctua nt-h1
