Alright, thanks for the advice!

I was looking at possible upgrades for my monitor I have now. A 1080p 27in with a 1800r curve. I was looking at getting the Samsung G5 Odyssey but im not sure what size to get it in. Options being 27 or 32 inches. Both are the same price. Then I noticed the pixel density and it got me thinking whether I should stick with 27 inches or go up to 32?

Well, the flash succeeded with the new files. But the phone has not fixed itself. It'll still load up to the carrier screen then sit there for about 2 minutes, then reboot. At this point I suspect its a hardware issue.

Update, I may have downloaded the wrong firmware/Image. I'm downloading the proper one now. I wont be able to get to it until later tonight or possibly tomorrow.

Odin itself gave an error. First time was a "model mismatch" error. I read a forum and used the User Data Usc instead of the CSC. It then gave a write error, I forgot the specific error name. I can try it again to get the name. Edit: When using BL+AP+CP+USERDATA it gave the model mismatch error. No, it wouldn't be under warranty, unfortunately. Its close to 4 years old and was my mothers old phone.

A few days ago I was using my Samsung Galaxy S9 for a webcam. While doing so, I had not plugged it in. So it died without me realizing. When I realized, I plugged it in and let it charge for a few minutes. I turned it on, but it wouldn't get past the carrier screen, verizon for me. It would just stay there. This was similar to something that my phone would sometimes do after turning it on cold. To explain that shortly, it would turn on and stay at the carrier screen for a few minutes then finally get to my home screen. But it didn't really function, fingerprint sensor didn't work, many UI elements didn't work, and eventually it would become unresponsive. I would then have to hold power and volume down to go into the boot maintenance mode and restart it. I have no clue what caused that to happen but it seemed to be just something that would randomly happen. Sometimes it did this rarely and sometimes it would take half an hour to get it out of that state. Anyways, my phone now just stays at the carrier screen, it would stay there for hours im sure. I left it to do its thing while I slept and came to it saying along of the lines of "Cant load android system, your data may be corrupt." I've tried factory resetting it many times, it'll proceed to the erasing data screen but for only a second or two and will restart. Nothing gets fixed. Currently it just boot loops after being on the carrier screen for about 2 minutes or so. Today I did try using Odin and loading new firmware and OS onto it but that failed. This is the article I followed: https://norsecorp.com/install-stock-firmware-galaxy-s9/ . I'm not sure what to do at this point besides just getting a new phone, but I want that to be my last resort. Im not concerned about losing data as I'm sure it already long gone. In the mean time, I'll try searching for a fix.

I daily my pair of Asus Rog fusion 700's. Almost all of the time I use them wired via USB. On the occasion I use the Bluetooth on them for music, I notice that they sound just fine until bass notes kick in. At that point, the volume drops significantly and highs fade a little. It happens whether I'm using my phone or any PC. I don't use any equalizers. I'm not sure if it just bluetooth or how the headphones handle the signal. Just curious why its doing this.

No, probably will though

Modem is a MOFI NETWORK MOFI4500-4GXeLTE-V2, cable is cat 6.

Recently got a new internet service through unlimited-ville. Old was verizon. In short we live where dedicated hotspots are the only decent option. But the modem only supports 2.4GZ wifi and I notice my PC gets slower speeds than my phone. I bought an ethernet cable to hook to but my PC says unidentified network with no internet. I looked into the modem settings a bit but its kind of a nightmare in there so I couldn't find much aid. I made sure both of the ethernet connections are plugged in good and that it was plugged into the Lan not Wan on the modem.

Yes I have -
A few days ago, my dell latitude e6530 wouldnt post after I put some different ram in it. I press the power button and nothing happens for about 10 seconds, the fan will spin up and down and the LEDs on the inside start putting out a code. Hdd blinking, battery solid and network solid. Looked it up to find it meant a possible cpu failure. With that, I ordered a working cpu from ebay and put that in. Same thing. I'm not sure what's going on but I'd guess it's the board or maybe the chipset.

Nothing will boot when ssd is installed

I figured as much, I bought a usb to m.2 adapter to use but I bought one that is nvme only, not sata. I'm just hoping I dont run into other weird issues. -
Nothing will boot when ssd is installed
Sir Lags A Lot replied to Sir Lags A Lot's topic in Operating Systems
Alright, so after unplugging the two. It would go into automatic repair boot and then a black screen. I tried unplugging the working windows install drive but after selecting the wd to boot, it would send me to the bios. -
I have this WD sata m.2 drive that is giving me issue. Whenever I put it into the front m.2 slot on my mobo and try to boot off of a perfectly working windows install, windows will stay at the initial screen with the loading wheel spinning. If I take it out, it boots just fine. I went into the bios and disabled everything in the boot sequence except for the other drive with a good windows install. Now the WD drive used to/still does have a windows install on it. Short version is that the main windows files are on the WD drive and the boot files and stuff are on a Seagate 500gb sshd, which after taking to a repair place said it is failing. In total I have 4 drives plugged in, 1 m.2, 2 sata, and 1 usb to sata. I'm going to try and unplugging the other two and leave just the working windows drive and the m.2 drive in.
-
-Ok, if I try to boot with the m.2 drive installed, no windows install will work, i dont know why but it wont. It will do a load wheel for a second or two then go to a black screen. With the install media it's purple. The windows install im using currently and install media will work just fine if the m.2 drive is not installed. -The media is from the windows site. -Im using another drive with a working windows install.
-
So the disk im using is a WD Blue M.2 1TB non nvme drive. I currently have to use a Usb to m.2 adapter to sorta of use the drive. I can't use it in the either of my m.2 slot on my mobo as no windows install will boot, even install media. I don't know why. But the disk needs to be initialized. When I try to do so, I get "The request failed due to fatal device error". The drivers for the adapter are up to date. I tried to use disk part to try and clean the reformat the drive but I get an error, event viewer shows the error, "VDS fails to write boot code on a disk during clean operation. Error code: 800701E3@02070008". I can't find anything helpful anywhere else, so I came here.

For the past two weeks I've had problems with my cpu upgrade for my pc, all being blue screens. But today I was setting out to try and find issues with windows. I previously had my cpu set to 3.0ghz to keep my windows stable. I was going to try and start into safe mode and just set my cpu to 4.6ghz. This also what my motherboards auto setting put it to. I did this to be sure weather my there was a corrupt windows files that would cause my blue screen even in safe mode. But after I saved and exit, the pc would be stuck in a power cycle. Judging from the way it was powering on, it was in a constant state of resetting the bios. I powered it off and shorted the cmos reset pins, it turned on and did what it did before. This motherboard doesn't have any debug lights or displays so I have no idea what's wrong. The manual says nothing at all about troubleshooting or the website. I my old i7 6700 with a z170 mobo that I'm probably going to swap out for a temporary setup. On tomorrow I plan to just take it to a local computer repair store just to get stress of me. So about 2 weeks ago u upgraded my cpu from an i7 6700 to a 9700k. Ever since I got it installed I've been having issues with windows. I used to get around the issue if I ran my cpu under 4.0ghz. But yesterday, on Christmas of all things, it got bad. The main stop code I've been getting is "system service exception". I have also gotten others but that was only one time. I also got a new keyboard and rgb mousepad for Christmas, so it may be the issue but I have my doubts. Today, I haven't even been able to get past the login screen before window blue screens. I've tried startup repair but that says nothing, along with command prompt stuff like sfc/scannow and all the bootrec commands. I have tried booting into safe mode but the password for the login is completely unknown to me for some reason. I've tried my current Microsoft password and potential old ones but no luck there. I've also tried low resolution mode but no luck there, blue screen. I just reset my pc about a week ago to hopefully solve my blue screen but it didnt help. I also noticed that I'd instantly get a blue screen if I tried opening up Logitech Ghub for my wheel. I have the startup for this disabled but if I could get into windows, I would uninstall some stuff like that as well as the some asus stuff for my keyboard, mouse and mousepad. I'm completely stumped on this and I really need some help. If you need anything else, ask away. Windows Blue screening when cpu at 4.6 Ghz.

So its been 4 days since I upgraded my cpu to an I7 9700k with a Gigabyte Arorus Gaming Pro WIFI z390 I. At first I have some windows issues but I fixed that i'm pretty sure. But last night I was playing Apex with a friend and talking to him on discord when my PC froze and then blue screened. The stop code was CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. It got stuck at retrieving data at 33% so I held the power button, probably a bad idea on my part but is was like that for over 5 mins. When I booted it up again the next code I got was 0xc000007b. Turned it off. Going off of my gallery from my phone, next was MACHINE_CHECK_EXEPCTION. What I did next was try installation media but windows startup repair wouldn't work or anything else. Next I did what fixed my PC when I first upgraded. I unplugged my D drive, booted up, error coded (idk what it was), shutdown, plugged the D drive back in, when it booted up just fine. There are probably a few things I missed there. I went to bed after that. Next day! I started up my PC and it error coded, pretty sure it was CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. During sometime my Bios reset and my clocks were set to auto and it was running 4.6Ghz. I turned it down to 3.6 and i think it turned on fine. God I have terrible memory. Anyway, Throughout the whole time I noticed anytime I ran my cpu 4.0 or over it start a chain of bad stuff. I reinstalled windows but kept personal files. I thought it was just fine until it blue screened about maybe 30 minutes in. Cpu was running at 4.6. Right now i'm running 3.8 and its been going strong for over an hour. Windows auto updated stuff for my motherboard already. I haven't tried running my cpu at 4.0 exactly yet as I dont want to go through more error screen if it does. I'm pretty stumped on this.

Yeah, its activated. No watermark thing. This windows key is voided though. It had originally came off of an hp sff. The modo broke on it so I moved my i7 off of that on an msi board.

Ok, so uh, it fixed it self after I plugged the hdd back in. I'm confused but happy. Now I just need to dial my 9700k to where it wont overload my noctua nh l9i
