  1. as the title says I'm looking for a wifi card in the sub $50 range for gaming and 1080p youtube I'm gonna be using this in my basement about 40ft away with my router on the main floor. for reference my iPhone 6s can get about 55 on the download and 9 on the upload in the same area. and I cant have ethernet wired down there or use a powerline
  2. On my iPhone 6s I can get about 55mb on the download and 9 up it’s only about 7ft down with thin walls
  3. So I can no longer keep my pc next to my router and unable to route ethernet to my pc so I am in the market for a wifi card in the sub $50 but preferably sub $40 and just looking for some recommendations. If it helps my mobo is a gigabyte b350-ds3h and cpu is a ryzen 3 2200g Edit: I will be using it for gaming and YouTube and my router is on my main floor and my pc will be in the basement about 50-60 feet away
  4. Hi so I plan on upgrading everything in my pc is a few days except storage and case because I still have plenty but I heard that you need to uninstall all previous drivers and I don’t rly no how to do that. If it helps I have a msi armor rx 580 8gb, ryzen 3 2200g, and gigabyte ab350m-Ds3h and plan to upgrade to a ryzen 5 3600, 5700 xt and gigabyte b450 aorus m. And if I can’t figure it out I plan on just wiping my drives I have fairly fast internet and not to many games so only a day of downloading
  5. Rly I thought 80+ was the seal of "will at least function"
  6. Lighter titles like tf2, apex Legends, doom, and wolfenstien GPU: rtx 2060 super $399.99 (rumor at TOP announcement should be 7/2) CPU: ryzen 5 3600 $199.99(7/7 release) MOBO: asrock b450m pro4 $69.99 PSU: evga 500 w1, 80+ 500w $39.99 RAM: corsair vengeance lpx 16gb 2x8 3000mhz $65.99 HEADSET: 2x corsair hs60 $39.99 HDD: 1tb western digital 7200rpm hdd $43.69 CASE: Thermaltake versa h22 MOUSE PAD: corsair mm300 extended $14.99 Total: $954.61 Unless it is a huge price gap I would like to stay on Amazon and kinda have a firm budget of $960 shipping included but not tax would appreciate feedback Edit: grammer
  7. see if when you plug your display into your motherboard instead of your graphics card the issue goes away, if it does u need to update GPU drivers or reach out to ur GPU manufacturer for a replacement
  8. IMHO the best mouse to buy rn that I have experience with is the g305/g pro if u like wired or wireless and the g703. the glorious model O seems great but I've never used it
  9. from what I know g-sync and g-sync compatible are almost identical in terms of performance but if u want to get a g-sync monitor it is a pretty good buy and the refurbisher is Acer certified so you should be good
  10. this is probably your best bet in terms of value its a TN, 1ms, 144hz, 1080p, with a stand that has height adjust, swivel, pivot, and tilt, is Free-sync with G-sync certification so its guaranteed work with AMD and Nvidia cards (so yes free sync with g-sync compatible is the best IMHO), and all for $200 https://www.amazon.com/Acer-XFA240-bmjdpr-Response-Technology/dp/B06ZYHZ6R6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=1FQ16LLL104F9&keywords=144hz+monitor&qid=1559463371&s=gateway&sprefix=144%2Caps%2C161&sr=8-3
  11. I'm in the market for a $70 headset and have narrowed it down to the g pro headset or the MH751 and just looking to see which ppl think is better
  12. I'm buying a few upgrades for my gaming pc rn I'm getting a 1080p 144hz monitor (Acer xfa240 is the one I plan on feel free to recommend if u know any better monitors) and I currently have a 2200g and Rx 580 in my system. with my budget for my CPU and GPU, I could either buy a ryzen 7 2700 and an RTX 2060 or a ryzen 5 2600 and an RTX 2070 or wait for 3rd gen ryzen and Navi but Idk if Navi will be as powerful as a 2060/2070 and I have a b350 board (gigabyte b350-ds3h) which may not support ryzen 3rd gen and the current ryzen 2 prices could be gone.
