  1. Unless they are nice, based on other phones prices and profits, I would guess around $1,700 USD.
  2. It depends on what kind of printers you have. If you have the money, I would recommend a company based in Florida, USA, Express PC Medics. They will help all your technical needs and provide this kind of stuff. I recommend this guy "Wesam". They can help you. They also can host websites and they have lots of partners for server hosting, server software, and other stuff. Let them manage this stuff for you to work how you want. Anyway, I would try contacting the manufacturers of your stuff. I don't know a lot about this stuff. I don't know if you can port forward network printers or something. I'm not very helpful sorry. -iKingRPG
  3. Lets make this so big that Linus has to react to it.
  4. even when on loudest settings is quieter then my old intel cpu fan.
  5. 212 evo is cheap, and really good. you can overclock and add fans and installation is pretty easy.
  6. i love costco. i just wish they sold PC components since their electronics are cheap and have the best warranty.
  7. Yeah good idea. I will first try free NAS on a virtual machine. Thanks for the advice.
  8. Thanks for the recommendations. I don't have to go to school for a few months, so I have more time then usual. I of course can't buy 1 Petabyte of storage, since I'm not rich or something. But I have built a PC before. I can do DIY projects as long as they aren't something like buying a $500 case or something. To give you an idea, my setup is a monitor from about 12 years ago, and a vizio tv from about 7 years ago. Both I just had so I use them. I use a keyboard less than $15, I use a $5 mouse. So basically, I try to spend money on the most important things. You are right, about Linus not going over configuration and detailed information. What I really am hoping for is for simple software to setup storage devices. I know about NAS drives and server hardware. Thanks so helping! All i really need is what kind of software I need. Or OS to run on a machine.
  9. exacty my point. Good idea. I'll try that!!!! Well believe it or not, ive seen laptops that came out last year on eBay for $10 US dollars because they think it is trash since they broke their screen or something. I have even seen potato pcs like those from HP where 12gb of ddr4 is standard. Also desktop computers are they same kind of thing. I guess your right though, so I just gotta pay for ddr4. and there is no good way out of it. that was the point of this post.
  10. I just took 4gb out of my 12gb laptop to add to my desktop pc after i buy an adapter. My laptop is a HP 15-bs033cl and i use it lightly for document editing and other lightweight software. Hopefully this works like it did for Linus in his video. The items on ebay look a little sketchy. Have high shipping costs too.
  11. Thanks for that. I just lost some hope, and at the same time am happy for your answer... Thanks for the better understanding. Yeah good idea. Especially after seeing MageTank's post. Thanks guys. Let me know if there is a cheap way that will work properly. Thanks again.
  12. Well i thought because I have seen wall adapters that change voltage from like american cable to european wall outlet.
  13. i know, but i just thought maybe i could force it to work by programming something.
  14. I didn't mention, I have seen adapters online, but from what i have read, all they do is make them physically fit. I don't really know about frequency and stuff a lot..... True. I was just curious if there was a way because I am only 13, therefore I'm not the wealthiest. The cheap way is kind of where I was aiming in this post. I am aware. I was just wondering because RAM isn't cheap.... I could also just buy used laptops online and take out ram and buy adapters like Linus did in one video. Some people who sell used stuff have no idea what the value is in the inside.... That is one way to get cheap DDR4 instead I guess.
  15. People don't usually say what software they use, or how it works when it comes to these "behind the scenes" sort of things. I am aware of FTP, NAS, VPN, and other stuff but I don't know if I am saying this right, but how do i setup and what is it called where I have a server on a pc, and it is port forwarded to the router and i can mount it on another pc and use it like a local drive. I only tried shared folders in windows as a file sharing thing that would actually let me mount it to my PCs. I have tried filezilla, free nas,and other stuff but i can't get them to work how i want. i tried some weird ubuntu stuff too. I know that is alot to ask, but I know nothing. please send a link to a video or something. Hardware is not a concern to me, so pricing isn't the biggest problem.
  16. Okay, okay. I know that is a big no no, and many people buy the wrong RAM by accident. But DDR3 is cheaper. And for people that don't need speeds from DDR4, they are forced to upgrade in order to have a motherboard compatible with new CPUs and other components. But -- is it actually possible? that is the real question. I know the short answer is obvious, but is there actually a way? I find that since I, don't personally need the speeds, I want to be able to buy a good modern motherboard, and not have to worry about finding a pot of gold in order to have more than 4 GB of RAM for my editing and gaming. Hopefully you guys understand! -iKingRPG Note: I don't know alot about overclocking ram, or why it is a thing, but idk if i can change some software thing to change the ram type to make it compatable. Can't really find anything on this, and assuming u can't do anything to make it work. It's ok either way.
