  1. I thought I could buy a 3080 with $700, but it seems like I can buy only a 3070 with that money... And that too the founder's edition only.
  2. My budget is $750-800. I actually saved up $700 to buy a GPU (3080), but then I realised that I might have to upgrade some other components in my pc too if I have to upgrade my gpu, so I'm saving some more now, but I don't think I'll be able to have a budget of more than $800. It is the budget for the my entire pc upgrade.
  3. My budget is $750-800 (60k inr). I'm pairing the 3080 with an Intel 8500. The thing is that I can only buy one gpu with my budget and not be able to upgrade anything else. That's why I chose a budget gpu, which I thought was atleast average, if not good. If it's recommended that I should spend a little bit of money on other upgrades, I might have to downgrade my gpu to a 3070
  4. The Corsair txm and rmx are really good, but they're way too expensive and out of my budget. I might have to downgrade to a 3070 if I have to buy one of those PSUs
  5. This psu is already a very very huge upgrade from the psu that I already have. The psu that I have currently sucks and it gave me many problems in the past and still gives me problems often. I do want to buy a good quality psu, but if I buy a 3080, 95% of my budget will be spent. I want a psu which is also affordable for me, or else I might have to buy a 3070.
  6. Yeah, but it's only 700W, shouldn't I be buying a 750W PSU for the RTX 3080?
  7. But Nvidia recommends a 750W psu with a 3080, right? Will it be fine if I still only buy a 650W psu?

  9. Nope, not at all, my PSU sucks. It gave me a lot of problems in the beginning and it still gives me problems sometimes, so I'm definitely gonna change my PSU along with the GPU. I hope the other specs are okay for 4K gaming, because I can't really afford to replace the motherboard and CPU right now.
  10. Budget (including currency): 60,000 INR ($800) Country: India Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 4K gaming at ultra settings, and blender rendering. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Motherboard: msi Z370 PC pro (8th gen intel). CPU: intel i5 8500. CPU cooling: intel built-in CPU cooler. GPU: msi GTX 1050 ti. SMPS: artis 600W VIP PSU. RAM: Corsair Vengeance 12gb DDR4 2400MHz. Storage: Seagate 2TB storage. Can someone please tell me that if I want to upgrade to a new RTX 3080, do I need to upgrade anything else so that the GPU doesn't bottleneck? I want to be able to use my graphics card to 100% of its power (without overclocking ofc).
  11. I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to computer hardware, so can someone tell me in a simple language as to what the RTX 3080 can do? How powerful it is and how much better is it compared to the 2080 ti? Is it worth spending $700 to upgrade from my 1050ti to the 3080? Ps: I have a 4k monitor, but I've never played a game at 4k till now and it would be really amazing if I could play at 4k. Will this card help me achieve it, not just for the current games, but also games for the next 3 years?
  12. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B06XCMGJV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_8inwFbBY7WSBP This is the cheapest 750W PSU (where I live) that I found which is from a good company (Corsair). Do you think this is a good one?
  13. Yes, I bought a pretty low quality psu in 2017 because it was already exceeding my budget before buying the psu at all. Corsair and other PSUs were very expensive and I couldn't afford it, so I got this cheap psu. I can assure you that it isn't a good psu and it gave me many problems in the beginning. PSUs are still very expensive today and 3080+a good quality psu isn't something that I can probably afford, I guess I should settle with the 3070. Also, can you please explain to me what a kit is? I'm really confused about what you said there. As I said earlier, I'm not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to hardware.
  14. I rendered a simple image at 4K and 1280 samples and the memory usage didn't exceed 2.1gb (42% memory usage). I also rendered a slightly bigger scene with more objects and it didn't exceed 6gb (75-78% memory usage). So I guess 12gb ram is enough for blender, for the time being atleast. I also game though, and I want to start gaming at 4k after I upgrade my gpu. Will 12gb of ram be enough for 4k gaming?
  15. My budget is around $700-750 (including GPU, ram and psu). This is the link to the PSU I bought 3 years ago: https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07L3LQFLY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_inmwFbBKFTBZW
