  1. Both Uber and regular cabs drive super dangerously in London. I'm surprised at how some drivers even have a car license!
  2. Thank you so much guys. Ended up buying the DT 770's (80 ohm ver). We will see how it goes, and will report back. Thank you
  3. Lets put things this way: I prefer listening from the HyperX Cloud 2 from my friend than from the Takstar. I was looking up the NVX XPT100 here on amazon (uk) and didn't find them. First hit I get are the BRAINWAVZ HM5 (£70) and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (around £100).
  4. Thanks for the answers so far. Those Creative and Sennheiser kinda look "cheap". Are they durable? The NVX look super comfortable! Followup: Do you guys think that 5.1/7.1 would give me a really good experience with games (at least for Action RPg's and such)? Forgot to mention that I'm using Takstar HI 2050 at the moment, but they aren't mine.
  5. Thanks for getting back at me. Closed would be best, i guess. Regarding to music, I listen to everything really. I would say good bass and ok clear vocals. (assuming that this was your question)
  6. Hi everyone. So, I came to the point that the only thing missing on my pc ecosystem is a good headset and a proper chair. I left the audio last as I don't have the knowledge for it. To help you guys help me: - Thinking about spending £100. I don't really have a budget, so if I get convinced that it is worth it, I'll spend more - I'm using this motherboard: http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5530#sp - Portability, or ability to use the headset out of pc would be a plus, but not needed - cordless headset would also be a plus, but not needed - I would be using it for all kinds of gaming (mobas, rpg, racing, etc), music, movies, etc. You know, everyday use on pc. - I live in London, so out of the EU shipping would be a minus I know most get pissed and forum beggars. For those who don't mind and answer, have my thank you.
  7. As some people said: Boot in safe mode with network (if you are on windows 10, press the case reboot button when windows is loading. After 3 fail boots windows boots to the fixing screen). Download the latest nvidia drivers and also Display driver uninstaller (you can grab it on guru3d or the link mentioned above). Clean drivers, reboot. Then install the new ones and reboot. Hopefully it will get fixed.
  8. Yes, I agree. The thing is, moving forward I might change to a better screen. I won't be able to do it with a 480 without having to worry about having to turn something off because of fps, as I have to do with my current 280x. Actually, I wouldn't even go for a 1080 tbh, but for a 1070. I don't really see myself going with something more than 1440p.
  9. I don't care about marketing or suppositions. I just want trusted reviewers to get it rolling so that I can know what to expect.
  10. Exactly as me. I still own a 280x and I do not thing that a 480 will meet my expectations. I wanted something really strong as a 1080 or so. I want something that allows me to just play whatever i feel like without having to worry about this and that.
  11. From my own experience, blower coolers, when well implemented, work pretty well when you have a small case with like, huge air intake straight to the GPU area. Still, I kinda think that it is a little bit ugly, but not a big deal when you have a closed case without a window.
  12. That's a really fair point, I'm sry. But in reality, who buys a device to play a game that is being launched for the first time (?). That's really poor judgement, in my opinion.
  13. Are you actually serious? How does people on PC having the game affect your joy or pleasure when playing it on your console? Really, stop being selfish. You just bought a game and pay an anual fee to play it online. You don't own the company or their marketing department. Grow up
  14. I saw this on reddit this morning. This is beyond ridiculous as much as it is hilarious.
  15. Yea, I kinda do the same. I usually force tessellation at 4x. I have a 280x and I know that it can't deal with tessellation on any game, not just Crysis. As much as I love AMD for their price:performance, I know that nVidia is a step ahead. For example, and knowing that both side have their bugs and shizzle, you look at AMD patch notes, after waiting months for decent drivers, and you see tons of games with "serious" bugs, like not working on freesync, this flickers, that crashes, this doesn't scale. Lately, a hotfix for a hotfix on latest crimson. wtf But yea, most of this doesn't apply to me as my 280x is still kicking ass and I don't use freesync or xfire.
