  1. I prefer oled... but that's another topic... Once had the Acer z35p preferred it over an other ultrawide ips I had. For this money it is very good. But check the price - should go for less than 480 now. Google reviews and prices! In Germany 350-400€ with 21% taxes
  2. Really... I would shit my pants Keep it in a bathtub over night - it WILL catch fire sooner or later. And if using it like a desk replacement - alway pull the battery... put it back in if you need it. Worth the 5 extra minutes a couple of times per year
  3. The ones I have stick like glue even if they are hot. More like a double-sided Tape rather than a thermal pad. Ultrathin like 0.1mm, too but your backplate is smooth and flat, too - cards with riffled / structured backplates need to get proper thermal pads https://www.amazon.de/dp/B087333C1H
  4. No... no removing of anything - just put the self adhesive heatsinks on the backplate... Or get some other heatsinks and some better thermal pads... glue them on... done + I put some random fan on top, too I have a PNY 3090... flat metal backplate - was easy to put some heatsinks on
  5. Damn 3090 backside Ram is overheating so fast... put some heatsinks there
  6. 3090/3080 1minute + cheap extra backplate cooling

8 4x4cm heatsinks on the back of my 3090 bring the RAM Junction Temp down to 80C from boiling hot 95 and more

  7. It just increases the surface area, where heat can dissipate ... instead of a flat small backplate surface area where air can hardly take away any heat. Just some self adhesive heatsink + I put a random fan on top Before gaming or mining RAM Junction Temp @ standard 9500MHz reached 95 Celsius
  8. Cool the Backplate... worked for me Now max junction temp is 80⁰ @10400MHz GPU fans @ 70%
  9. Amazon: Pieces 4x4cm https://www.amazon.de/dp/B087333C1H 5 -15 degrees Celsius cooler RAM Junction Temperature (depending on airflow)
  10. Laptop with 1070 PC with 2080ti folding client 7.5.1 Windows 10 In peaces I have a 16x threadripper with 1080ti and a maybe 3100 AMD GPU - maybe I will put this PC back together and throw it into the ring.
  11. Since 10 hours I'm not geting any WUs Not on the Laptop or PC greetings from Germany
  12. I'm not in the event... could someone pls fix this I reistered twice in time - first time I think it didnt went through CTmanGer CTmanGer https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/CTmanGer just started folding, yesterday.
  13. F...! My 2080ti has only 1x HDMI... damn... probably their 2080ti, too Had a phenomenal deal - 2.5k for the q950r ... but 30Hz... no way But would it work with 2xDP to hdmi adapters? Please try it!
  14. Is 8k60 possible if you connect it via 2 hdmi cables or 3, even 4? Strange, that you didn't try it... 8k30 is ridicules even just for Desktop usage.
  15. Amazon.de (Germany) would be nice... Lastpass gone? My subscription is running out in a week or so. I'll try to find it in one of your YouTube videos
