  1. Hello All, I just recently upgraded to Windows 10. I haven't played League of Legends in a long time. That being said, I used to get 250+ FPS at all times with the same specs below. Now I'm only getting roughly 130-160. Did League Update certain things and screw with the optimization? CPU: i7-4790k ( Not overclocked ) GPU: 1070 TI, Nvidia, Reference Card MB: Asus Z97-A Ram: 16GB G.Skill 3, VG348QE 144hz, 1MS Monitors Internet Speed: 100MBS Up/Down CPU Usage: 20-30% GPU Usage: Under 10% Current FPS: 130-160, sometimes lower than 130. Settings; Off -> High V-Sync: Off AA: Off
  2. I'm going to get started now and do a fresh install, thanks everyone It was running a little choppy anyway. I figured something went wrong or is off. I never used Windows 10 yet, I just hope this isn't how it normally runs lol.
  3. I figured I would save myself time installing all my programs and stuff again doing it this way. But I understand what you are saying.
  4. CPU: i7-4790k Motherboard: Asus-Z97-A I had Windows 7 on my computer, now I used: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 Do Upgrade to Windows 10. Did this also upgrade my drivers? because my Intel Chipset driver is: 10.1.1.7 but the newest Chipset driver on Asus's website is: Version 11.0.5.11892016/08/0297.86 MBytes MEI: V11.0.5.1189 But it says failed when trying to install. I don't know if I made the right choice instead of just doing a fresh install with all the updated drivers. I went down the list on the device manager and clicked update driver, some gotten updates and some didn't. Can anyone shed some light on this?
  5. Does anyone know if they will be giving a free upgrade again from Windows 7 Users to Windows 10 in Jan.2020 when they stop supporting Windows 7?
  6. Thank you guys so much for all the information!
  7. I should edit my post again, VGA/DVI works. VGA/HDMI works. Just not HDMI/DVI
  8. I'm pretty sure on integrated graphics you can't run HDMI & DVI at the same time. I will do some research and edit post when I find out. Edit: From my understanding you can only use HDMI/VGA or DVI/VGA - Not HDMI/DVI for integrated graphics. Best of luck.
  9. For what it's worth I have 3- Asus VG248QE's / 24'' - 144hz / 1MS
  10. I've been trying to do some research while at work. Do you know any information regarding this having the ability to impact gaming performance? IE: Is it missing any necessary files, updates, etc. I would assume this version will run everything smoother with less consumption on components.
  11. Has anyone tried any of the stripped down versions of Windows 10? I currently have Windows 7 and not looking forward to upgrading in 2020. That being said, I know by default Win10 has a lot of bloatware and such. Any suggestions? Thanks,
  12. I have 3 of these, they are amazing. https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH7G0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528491420&sr=8-1&keywords=vg248qe I guess at the end of the day, will you purchase more of these? If yes; Do you have room on your desk? If no; Will you buy a new desk? I think the 24inches are just fine. But it's up to you.

  14. Hmm.. I would reset your BIOS Settings to factory/default or contact your Motherboard Manufacturer to see if they have a lock on anything about 16GB of RAM.
