My dad got a 2010 Cadillac CTS-V recently. Here's a couple of pictures of it next to the SS.

I customized my front bumper cover this weekend, just put it back together since I need it to get to work tomorrow.
 
Anyway it turned out quite bad actually, it didn't go as I had planned at all, it looks okayish from afar, I used stuff laying around, which at this point I guess has gone bad.
 
No matter how much sanding I did I couldn't get the surface smooth after fiberglass putty, even though I had added a fine putty,  sanding, there was still small edges and pits I couldn't get rid off.
 
The paint I had custom ordered for my cars color code was way darker than the actual color.
 
Well it is what it is and I'll live with it until I decide to redo it. I'll learn from this and do better next time.

great but after you're done tuning the car to you're liking it'll be $100k+ probably.

So I had did headlight restoration using the 3M kit that came with the polishing stuff feb 18th of last year. Difference is when i was done, I put xpel covers over the headlights as supposedly they work amazingly well for keeping them from yellowing again.

As as you guys may know as I literally just got a house with a carport a month ago, my car before then has literally spent all its time outside. I wax it every few times I wash it but that’s about all I can do. I’m pretty impressed by these xpel covers and probably won’t restore headlights without them in the future.

TR Motorsports C1 15x8+20. 205/50R15 Federal Formosa AZ01. Love how it looks! I'm going to black out the headlight housings and paint the windshield frame and mirrors black. Also put in a new header back exhaust, cost me around $150 in parts at Auto Zone haha. Catless with a Cherry Bomb glass pack and Cherry Bomb turbo muffler. 2" to 2.5" tip. No CEL since I welded in a spark plug non fouler to act as a spacer (don't tell anyone, they'll smell it first lol) Just something to keep the car quiet while it waits for a turbo.
 
Edit: Also, these wheels are SO LIGHT! I could pick them up with one hand effortlessly. The small tires probably weighed about the same as the wheel itself which is incredible.

It's not much but it was mine... my old Baotian BT49 scooter, it was slow as heck and super unreliable, but it got me around. Sadly it died recently, so I'll be picking up a 125cc motorcycle when I have the funds together. I did manage to do some slight tuning such as derestricting it and installing lightweight rollers and stuff which helped slightly, but it was still a bag of junk at the end of the day.

Hey, one guy comes out from South Dakota 2-3 times a year for the meets lol but you're a little farther away in what I assume is Canada. Midwest USA, not West though so like...all the corn flyover states. Most of us are within a few hours, some of us don't have a 6GC anymore or like me never had one. I started this meet like...15 years ago when I had a car with a 7A that wasn't a Celica, then got a 7th gen, and it's just kept on going ever since. People have gotten married, had kids, people have died, people have gotten more Celica's than you can shake a stick at, others have moved on to other platforms or other brands, but we all just keep coming together 2-3 times a year to BBQ, hike, drive, and have a good time. If you're ever out this way around Chicago, car or no car, send me a PM and I'll see if I can get some of the group together for a dinner meet or something. For the April meet we'll have at least 1 GT4, we're trying to get all 4 AWD Celica together even if one is just a crusty old ST165 (She'd murder me if she ever saw that).

Keep your long range but get more torque off the line(great for heavy loads) and reduce the smog in dense cities to almost nothing if they have a decent electric-only range. because while ONLY commuting, 90%+ of the time your only using electricity
 
that is unless we solve the battery energy density problem first. then it'll just be electric only

we'll have a repeat of what happened in the 70's when we had nothing but fuel sucking cars and the japanese said "hey buy our sub compacts and get twice as far on one drop of fuel!"

Got pulled over. First time. Lol
took me about 5 years to finally get pulled over. 
 
Floored it down an on ramp to a highway, got on the highway (allegedly way over the limit lol), was empty, stayed in right lane and just slowed down to the limit. About 30 seconds later traffic behind caught up, cop got behind me and turns his lights on, I immediately pull over for him, stop, and turn my interior light on since it’s dark just so he’s as comfortable as possible. Me thinking “oh lord I wonder if he has evidence of me doing xxx in the 65” 
 
he comes to my passenger window, first thing he asks me is how I’m doing tonight. Tell him great, just heading back home from work. He told me not to worry I’m not giving you a ticket or anything, but  said I want to see your license and I want To ask why you driving so fast. Told him my license was in my pocket and handed it to him. At the same time I was about to answer him but he cut me off and said “because you were having fun, right?” I was like “yes” and he laughed and said he understood.
 
looked at my license asked me where I was coming from and I told him where I worked and what field and he was like “oh really, that’s pretty cool!” Handed me back my license and told me just to take it easy. 
 
Didnt even tell me to slow slow down or anything but I guess he figured I would think that anyway. Lol
 
he stayed behind me most of the way I guess to make sure I was actually going to the town I live in and/or catch me speeding again which I don’t normaly do. Maybe he’s seen me driving normally (literally the speed limit when I’m not in a hurry) before and just thought it was odd lol
 
Whatever it is, he also said he liked the car and asked me what happened to my dash (the little clips on the panel under the steering wheel coming undone... been like that for a while)

Anyone else who are interested in the model T's? I'm building a model T 1926 runabout. I've lots of parts and I recently picked up a body (seat portion and trunk), the 26/27 runabout body is rare to find here in Sweden.
 
There's alot metal work to do, but my plan is to get a rolling frame done to the summer / early fall.

It was completely renovated when I got it, it has increased bore since there was some damage in one of the cylinders, I'm planning on getting a high compression top. Adding all that together I might get 30 hp out of this thing. They have about 20 hp stock.
