  1. Is 750w power supply with a 3070 and Ryzen 3700x considered high wattage? And when you say grounded lead you mean with 3 prongs, not 2?
  2. So I’m getting a new desk, and plan to put my pc on top of it to show it off. Only problem is the psu power cord isn’t long enough to reach my surge protector. My question is can I plug the psu power cord into an extension cord (3-6ft) to reach my surge protector?
  3. Because the game is so low spec it barely even stresses your pc, I play the game with a 3070 and my gpu usage is 20%
  4. Whenever I’m playing fortnite, and streaming my fps drops every few seconds and it makes the game unplayable. I’ll be getting 240 fps and then it’ll drop to 80-100 fps. I stream using the new nvenc encoder so the FPS impact should be minimal or non existent My cpu usage sits at about 50% and my gpu usage sits at about 40-50% My specs: cpu: Ryzen 3700x gpu: rtx 3070 FE Ram: 16gb Ballistix rgb 3200mhz I don’t understand why I get major FPS drops when I stream if I’m using nvenc and my usage is not maxed out. Any suggestions? Also I overclocked my gpu and checked stability, but FPS drops persist with overclock on or off. Some days fps drops won’t happen but other days I can’t stream because it’s unplayable. I stream on 720p60fps with 5000 bitrate.
  5. I am wondering if these temperatures are ok since they seem kind of hot. I have a Ryzen 3700x with the stock wraith prism cooler. My case is the. NZXT H510 with 2 intake and 2 exhaust fans. idle the temps are around 50-55c Underload (gaming for 5+ hours) temps reach 92c It only reaches 92 for like a second every once in a while when it spikes but constantly it’s around 87-89c while gaming for hours I will mention I do not have any crashing issues while gaming and it is summer and my room is in the basement so my rooms temperature is constantly 77-81 degrees Fahrenheit. Are these temps normal for the specs and should I be concerned?
  6. Yeah but currently clock speeds on gpu don’t ever hit max while playing so if I oc will base clocks be higher therefore more performace?
  7. Cpu usage is about 60-70% and ram is xmp to 3200 and is dual channel
  8. Got it. So over clocking my gpu won’t do anything for me, possibly even make the problem worse?
  9. Sounds good, never knew if any pros actually use gsync since they never talk about it and it’s not mentioned on pro settings websites. I figured they would prefer the least input delay
  10. Thank you just the response I was looking for, wasn’t sure if primary monitor affected responsiveness or simply was for convenience.
  11. So what can I do? Do I need a more powerful cpu?
  12. Yeah I though this may the issue but cpu utilization even if I’m streaming is no more than 60 or 70%. I play 1080p dx 12 mode textures on epic and view distance on epic.
  13. I play competitively so my question is should I be using gsync or not. I understand it adds input delay, is this significant, or is gsync beneficial for competitive play. Game is fortnite and I play 240hz with a rtx 3070. Maybe an important detail is this is not an official gsync monitor just a certified gsync compatible monitor (originally free sync).
  14. Basic question, I game and stream so I set my primary monitor as the one with my tabs and obs and my secondary is my gaming one. My question is, is this setup optimal? Will I get any additional input lag if I game on secondary. My panel is an acer 240hz monitor. Monitor: Acer XF250Q Cbmiiprx 24.5"
