Ranajoy Shil reacted to AndreiArgeanu in Why does Joule Meter is getting detected by Virus total lol?
Because they could be false positives, it happens with a lot of programs that, despite the fact that they are completely safe, you'd still get 1-2 antiviruses that detect it as a virus.

It's not. As you highlighted, it says Unknown Verdict.

It's likely that HWM has to be a little trickster to get all the hardware data that it does while providing the features that it provides. Some anti-malware detectors might flag some of that trickery as potentially dangerous.

If you know for sure that the detected thing is HWM then you're as safe as HWM is.

IDK about 3rd gen, but 2gen Ryzen vs Intel 8th gen, Intel works better, as faaaar as I know.

Hey, consider using MAC, it will be great. but if you don't have budget, go for Intel.

Ryzen “gives up” and starts to crackle much earlier (At 70–85% CPU load) compared to the 7700 (which start to crackle at 92–99%. Much, much later).
If you just need to record stuffs and use sample packs, you may go for Ryzen. But if you use vst like Serum, Omnisphere, Kontakt, etc, go for Intel.

*I have Intel i5-4300, and it still works great.

Its true tho, and also 3 seperate anti-virus isnt more safe. chances are they just interfere with each other. But if you like it like that who are we to tell you otherwise.

As for the memory usage i would suggest opening taskmanager (SHIFT+CTRL+ESC) then click 'more details'  at the bottom. Then you can click the 'memory' tab to sort by most used memory, then you can check per programs what uses most memory.
But remember, Windows does have a lot of active processes that doe use memory, so that might be the reason the 3GB is used.

Besides all that, Windows takes care of your memory well neough to not worry, unless its getting close to the max if you're doing nothing special.

Definitely rate me for my first ever Gaming PC built and definitely cable management, I actually put more than 3 hours on it, I guess watching countless hours of PC building videos paid off!!

The motherboards you chose are all pretty bad for overclocking, they're all the cheapest B450 boards out there. The Asrock B450 Pro4 or Pro4F should be available for a decent price, it's the best budget B450 motherboard put there.

You can record videos with NVENC, using Nvidia shadowplay to record is very effective IMO. That way the CPU isn't loaded up with tasks. Editing videos will work fine as well, just take a little while.

Ranajoy Shil reacted to OmicronEta in Can any of guys suggest me a gaming laptop under 800 US dollars?
The real only 2 laptops that hit this price point are going to be Acer Nitro 5 and the Dell G series. I think Linus has a video where he compares them. You really should watch that and maybe make your decision off that. Also, you will not find many gaming laptops with Ryzen in them until you hit the high end.
