  1. https://www.amazon.com/70mai-Dashboard-G-Sensor-Emergency-Recording/dp/B07F245PS1/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=1IDU02P4OZ797&keywords=70mai+mini+dash+cam&qid=1661893404&sprefix=70mai+mini%2Caps%2C1184&sr=8-5 I bought this cheap dash cam ever since i started leasing cars. the interface is kinda weird but it does the job. I’m going to check out the list and buy one of those. I guess all I need is better video quality and battery life. I’m not familiar with battery life on dash cams, but the one on this cam is really short.
  2. Ah memories, my first os was Windows 95. I had a lot of cool games on 95/98 - Carmen Sandiego, Casino games, Sims, Jill of the Jungle, Diablo. I remember rebooting the system a lot after installing drivers for new hardware. It's so much easier these days. One bsod I remember getting is for running out of ram. I upgraded from 256 mb to 512 mb and it was night and day difference. Our social media was AOL messenger. Kids missed out on fun times lol
  3. my first actual gaming rig was amd fx 4350 in 2013. i upgrade 1-2 years, or when i notice a real downgrade in performance. i upgraded to an a10 (whatever the lowest tier was). now i have ryzen 5 1600x. i've been using the same case since 2012 though. it's the nzxt phantom 410. still does the job. but yeah i decide to upgrade whenever my system can't do what i want it to do. i'm not patient when it comes to loading stuff lol
  4. i agree with the air flow. how many fans do you have installed? also my room gets hot quick, so i turn on the ac and it really does help. esp in summer. back in high school i used to work in the server room, and it constantly had to be cold cuz of all thr heat the computers were pushing out
  5. new ram came and everything works again. think i am still going to install another 8 gb though.
  6. Wow that's crazy. I'll find out from crucial when my new ram will be sent to me. That's good that they received a new pair. For giggles i ran memtest and there were errors everywhere. I'm using my alienware laptop until the ram comes to me. I can't live on 4gb. I used to live with 8gb, but now I might just have to make 16gb as my new standard when I build pc's. My laptop has 16 and it runs everything I throw at it.
  7. Last year when I built my new rig with Ryzen 5 1600x, I bought the Crucial Ballistix Sport ram http://www.microcenter.com/product/446297/Ballistix_Sport_LT_8GB_2_x_4GB_DDR4-2400_PC4-19200_CL16_Dual_Channel_Desktop_Memory_Kit 2 weeks ago, I started getting random blue screens. The pc restarted too quick, so I wasn't able to get the code until a few days ago. When I was able to read the code, I saw different codes, ranging from bad pool header to memory_management. I took one stick out and the computer ran fine. I swapped sticks, and as soon as I logged onto Windows, I would get bsod. I sent my rma, but I'm thinking I'll just upgrade at some point to 2x 8gb sticks of ram. I never had an issue where I bought a dual channel memory kit and only 1 sticks of ram would fail. I tested all of the ram slots on the mb, and they don't have issues. So i'm scratching my head on this one lol I have a gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 mb with evga gtx 960 sc
  8. nah, i'll look into it. gonna go for an eye exam in a few months when my insurance kicks in lol. ill see what the doc says too.
  9. It's funny because I've been on a computer since I was 5. I'm the only one in the family who doesn't wear glasses, but in the past 2 years, my eyes have been going bad. (Increasing font sizes, zooming in to see stuff better) I ask people who have been to eye doctors, and they say it's just straining the eyes from being on the computer all day. If you have to be on the computer all day, just take breaks from looking at the screen like some people have said here. Too much of anything can be bad. Moderation.
  10. I've been looking at this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814487299 gtx 1050 for 179.99. I think that's a good card. It's frustrating when you're trying to upgrade your rig, but the card either is not available, or it costs a billion dollars. Friend is letting me use his 980 since my 650 ti is just old and it's starting to show its age. I've been waiting for ram prices to drop. 16 gigs of ddr4 cost from $130+
  11. got a new ipad (don't kill me) and galaxy s9+ i had the s8, so it was time to upgrade
  12. hey sorry been away too lol good to hear you got it working. i mix up wires all the time. it sounds like ext is for more fans. so you would plug in the first cpu fan, and if you have dual fans, the 2nd fan would plug there as my guess.
  13. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1006064/ Sometimes the fan isn't seated in properly. I would have to take the fan off, redo the thermal paste and reinstall the fan. Unless the fan could be doa? Does the fan spin up loud, then turn off? The last solution says bios update.
  14. The seller has zero feedback and no profile information. Looks really sketchy to me.
  15. The last Apple product I owned was the iphone 4. It sucks because it seems like at work everyone is migrating to apple phones and tablets. Apple charges too much and customizing options are limited.
