I'm building multiple pcs for friends and helping them pick some parts and I am having a lot of trouble with motherboards. I know there is a shortage bc of covid but there has to be a place with a solid B450 board that isn't overpriced I found that Micro ATX boards are still in stock and not overpriced, so I switched many of the builds into Micro ATX cases. The problem is a few people want full size builds but I don't want to give them Micro ATX motherboards. Is there any place left online where I can get a B450 ATX board for a normal price. Also looked into the new B550 boards newegg says none are in stock atm.

is that power supply really required and is there any noticeable difference between the gpu I chose and the one you chose?

I really have no problem with the brand and wow I didn’t realize nvme had gotten that cheap either

I have a friend who is looking into building a pc and asked my help for parts since i've built a few before. The budget that was given was less than 800 and he wanted it to be a compact build. this is part list I have PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/266GNq CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (14nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor ($137.97 @ Amazon) Motherboard: MSI B450M GAMING PLUS Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($93.98 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($99.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($64.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($44.99 @ Adorama) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB TUF OC Video Card ($214.99 @ B&H) Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($44.19 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($66.87 @ Newegg) Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link Archer T4E PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter ($24.99 @ Amazon) Total: $792.96 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-24 23:38 EDT-0400 Im probably gonna replace the cpu for a 1600AF 12nm since its cheaper and better performance The main thing im worried about is the clearance for the wireless network adapter. I feel like it wont fit in that case next to the gpu and psu

The HDD isn't what the price that it says. I got it new at Microcenter for $60 and the monitor is a buffer monitor until I can get a better monitor. I also do have an Oculus Rift and I do use this with it. This is used for heavy content creation, blender, and lots of gaming while streaming.

Ok so I’ll probably pick one up this weekend from my local micro center. Thanks guys

Is an RM750x a good power supply for this kind of build?
-
Ok, I have no overclocks and yes its on a strip so I am pretty sure that's the issue
