  1. Isn't it fun that after all the work you put in to get the requirements for WIN 11 setup, Microsoft does some poop with their Win Update service that now claims your system isn't compatible

  2. NVM, Data restored itself after I re created D:
  3. So to save space I setup my Documents folder to be located on D:, today I formatted D: after backing up the files, is there a way to restore My Documents in it's standard location on C:?
  4. Damn, fixing Windows is something really fun but also frustrating

It's done, thanks for the offer

  5. I fixed the issue by disconnecting my two additional drives physically, then using bootrec.exe I rebuild the bcd, used Diskpart to change the partitions and finally ran Startup repair. If anyone stumbles on this later, The Recovery tool wasn't the culprit, it was me setting my C:/ to active, if anyone wants a detailed description how I did it feel free to hmu, maybe I'll reply
  6. The „Repair Windows“ doesn‘t do shit, I‘ve reset my BIOS to work with CSM before the issue manifested itself, I can‘t do a clean Install because a lot of Stuff I don‘t wanna loose, also now is a bad time for a fresh install. I‘ve since found out my fatal mistake was setting C: active as that somehow dooms Windows, I can see in Diskpart that my Boot drive is now drive 2 and the partition containing win 10 is volume E: setting it active doen‘t seem to work though…
  7. Yeah, when I select the Boot Drive from the BIOS or put it to the top, it comes up not detecting anything
  8. So I‘ve tried to get my PC ready for Windows 11 because I wanna get it in the next month or two. Windows 10 complained and told me that secure boot and TPM 2.0 are missing. After Switching the TPM config to PTT that issue was resolved, but the Secure boot persisted, Windows Website told me to disable Legacy Boot from the CSM settings but that made the PC only boot to BIOS/UEFI, I fixed it by undoing my changes and searched the Internet for a solution. Apparently my C: disk is still in MBR not GPT, (I‘ve Installed Windows 3 Years ago on this machine) solutions like mbr2gpt didn‘t work, so Windows support articles once again recommended running cod of of the win 10 Recovery launched via the settings, since I‘ve done that my System keeps screaming there‘s no OS detected and that I should Remove non OS Drives. I have 3 drives on the machine with the one with C: being partioned once into C: and D: one thing I realized was that C: was Drive 2 and no longer Drive 0 after the CSM shenanigans (I saw it in windows 10 drive manager) Currently there‘s no way for me to Boot into Windows, I can go into BIOS but I‘m not sure what to do, because I don‘t wanna start removing drives RN, so I‘d be very very thankful for any help. Edit: So I‘ve also clicked „set partition active“ in the drive manager it warned me but I selected C: the partition with the OS
  9. You could check CloudConvert ( https://cloudconvert.com/)for a Cloud solution wich won't impact performance
  10. I want to disable gamemode because it is screwing over some stuff on my pc but i want to keep the thing wich hides the notifications from the game until the game is stopped It is very hard to test out so i wanted to ask someone who may have knowledge about that
  11. Is it possible to install a game through Steam onto a partition like D: ? And does it impact performence if yes?
  12. Great to hear that not everyone has had an unpleasent experience with that error
  13. Oh no... I have had the same issue a few weeks ago and now exactly how frustrating that is Here is how i did it: I went to the apple store and after a short while of incompetence from the Staff they told my it is Bricked and I need a new one Here is the jumping point: Are you still in Varanty? If yes you'll get a new phone by Apple If no you are f**ed. you'll need to buy a new one (happened to me because I got a replacement after an Employee destroyed the phone while changing the battery (again Apple being incompetent) and you only have 90 days varanty on a replacement) So... you can try your best at the Apple store, maybe it is not completely done or try to restore using some 3rd party software like :https://www.fonepaw.com/ios-system-recovery/ or https://www.tenorshare.com/products/reiboot.html I would like to help you but i think it is just bricked but try your best and good luck!
