  1. I'm building a Windows/OSX dual boot system soon, and I'm planning on partitioning a 1TB m.2 nvme ssd into two 500gb volumes for each operating system and some programs. I also want to install a 4TB secondary hdd. My question is, do I have to partition the hdd into two volumes in order for both operating systems to make use of it, or could they both access the same volume? It would be handy to be able to share files across both operating systems like that if it's possible. Thanks in advance.
  2. You're definitely correct Jurrunio, I had no idea about the 8th gen series til now! Thanks heaps guys, you just made my decision a lot easier. 8700K it is.
  3. Hey all, hoping to get some advice on which CPU would suit my needs best. Deciding between the i7 7700K and the i7 7800X. I'm building a dualboot machine, which I'll use for high end gaming on the PC side, and design work on the OSX side. Specifically, I'll be running almost every Adobe program (including video editing), Cinema 4D for 3D rendering and also Protools/Logic X Pro from time to time for recording and mixing. I believe the iMacs at my work use i7 7700s, and they really don't handle our large and complicated Illustrator files well, however I understand that could simply be a limitation of the program, or the fact that the files sit on a server as we work on them, or even the GPU. So do you think the 2066 socket is worth the extra cost (taking into account the more expensive mobo etc.), or will I not see that much difference in performance? Thanks!!
