  1. I know not that many people are interested in 3D printing their own case, but here’s a render of what it should look like when it is done. Just got tired of huge cases just for a single 360mm radiator, and who knows when Lian Li a3-mAtx will come out and the price tag. Reprinting in PLA+ with all the updates. Will update here when I have a “pretty” final prototype.
  2. Not sure if anyone is interested, but here is a prototype of a 3D printed SFF style water cooled case, I designed. It measures 410x235x290mm, takes up to mATX board, 360mm custom loop, and full size psu. Current prototype is just over 1500 grams of PLA, 84 hours to print, and cost should be under 70$ in parts/supplies. Goal is positive pressure case with filters. Working on printed version two with all the tweaks from testing. Nicknaming it, The Hatchback.
  3. Was going to check this out but my Asrock b550 is only on 1.0.0.2 for bios.....great, here's to the waiting game.
  4. Ya Gears 5 felt very well optimized but there are so many quality settings and descriptions, was easy to figure out what to turn down. Must be from all the years of optimizing to play on xbox.
  5. The 3400G is about 10% better than 2400G, depending on RAM and OC or not. Gears 5 benchtest was 42 FPS at 1080p mixed medium settings and in game is was about 45 FPS most the time, I would say this Vega 11 can get very close to RX 560 if it had underclocked memory, most I have seen equate the Vega 11 iGPU to about a RX550 at stock clocks.
  6. It will easily runt the games, but only 4 cores for streaming while playing it might have hiccups or dropped frames. If you used a 3400G it should be able to play those games and stream at 1080p60.
  7. Does your motherboard have errors/boot codes? Ryzen 3000G CPUs do need the new bios update to actually work and won't boot without it, generally you'll get a CPU error from motherboard.
  8. I have the 3400G and have been trying to find any info on normal voltages for this CPU as it auto over 1.5v a lot. On my MSI b450m GP, if I leave everything on auto it will stay very low at idle under 1v but if it boosts to 4.2ghz it will hit 1.531v. Was testing all core OC and it will only stick if its up near 1.5v
  9. So far the 3400G has been able to play any game that isn't super CPU intensive at 1080p Low. Mine can play Fortnite, Apex Legends, CS:GO 120+FPS, and recently Gears 5 all at medium to high settings 1080p. Last default settings Firestrike score of 4134 if you want to compare to other GPUs.
  10. I have noticed the same thing with 3400G and still can't find any answers to this. If I leave everything on auto and run just a CPU-Z stress test it will run 4.0Ghz all core and hit 1.51V and if I use auto overclock it will go to 1.531v- 1.55v. This is on an MSI b450m board, just don't know what is safe for this CPU and as I read about other people with ryzen saying use 1.43 max and 1.5v will kill it but it seems to like high voltages.
  11. It has to be something to do with the screen off time. I will use my Note 9 while working for some light streaming, social media, and GPS navigation and be at 10% after 12 hours, with 2.5 hours SOT. Or I can stream twitch all day on my day off with 9.5 hours SOT and be at 10% battery life. My last phone iPhone X was nearly opposite but had roughly same battery life...terrible.
  12. I always wondered what the point was to have FPS that high? I understand you don’t want to dip below 60 or even 15, but having them that high seems wasteful. Does your friend at least have a g-sync monitor to take avantage of the frames?
