  1. Looks like a got a few WU's during the night, cracked 1 mil and still going!
  2. It's been a good time to catch up on movies, haven't had much more than a cough, sore throat and sneezes so far. Just moved into this place a couple months ago and I splurged for gigabit internet so me and another quarantined buddy have been just chilling lol. I hadn't stocked up any food or anything but his wife kindly dropped off some food and liquor today lol!
  3. Yeah I did look over the blog post, hope you and your family make it through alright. Definitely can't be too careful!
  4. Just precautions by my employer, there were 3 of us living in a small cabin while working out of town and my co-worker coughed up blood one morning and felt generally pretty terrible.
  5. Well, I'm on day 3 of quarantine and just ventured into folding for the first time today! My laptop and desktop are both currently chugging away haha.
  6. I don't have control but rise/shadow of the tomb raider gives me the same issue, it crashes with any slight o/c. I think I have at least one other game that does the same thing but I can't think of what it is right now.
  7. I've had a kraken headset and an ornata chroma keyboard for close to two years. I love the headset, super comfortable for my head and good sound quality imo but only have a small reference pool to judge against. The keyboard just got replaced by a corsair claymore but it was still functioning fine other than the arrow keys and the number 2 had partially lost their click. They still worked but sometimes wouldn't click when pressed. I even accidentally sat on my headphones once and I just bent the metal part back into shape and they were fine.
  8. Do you have mobile data turned off? Messages needs mobile data to send pictures.
  9. I also used to get weird issues like this when I had two different refresh rate displays hooked up. 20190120_124940_1.mp4
  10. I have a secret labs titan and I love it. I only have experience with one other chair, a $100ish office chair from Costco. It could be one of the worst purchases I've ever made. Within a month or two the cushion was tapped out, just felt like I was sitting on just the plywood underneath and made my back ache. I can game for hours on the titan and if it gets uncomfortable I just take a break and go back. No back ache anymore. I even use it instead of the couch sometimes when watching tv with the wife. That's just my two cents. I'd love to try a few other chairs but ill wait for the titan to give out first.
  11. Yeah I get it, they definitely can be pricey. They start around $150 cad, $110 usd new so the cheaper used ones probably sell quick.
  12. I have the mortar titanium and I can't really think of anything I don't like about it but I am curious, if you're looking to build a lan box have you checked out itx boards? Also if you don't need pbo (zen+ feature only, correct me if I'm wrong please) support and aren't going to be doing heavy overclocking, why not go with b350? I suppose it may limit future upgradability. I put all my parts on my old b350 board and stuffed it into a 10"x10"x12" Thermaltake core v1 so I could take it out of town for work easier than my matx chassis and I haven't really noticed much of a performance hit. Granted I can't compare apples to apples because I couldn't fit my tower cooler in it so I put the stock cooler on for now. Just food for thought.
  13. Just for reference, when I had a 1060 6gb and r5 2600x I could only get 120ish fps in diablo 3 at 1080p. Can't remember what settings but probably near maxed out.
  14. With your motherboard only the cpu fan header is a pwm header, the sysfan headers are all voltage mode even though they have 4 pins (the fourth is labeled, "nc," in the manual). Normally this isn't a problem, the mobo will just run a pwm fan with voltage control, usually at 100% unless you tell it otherwise. Since the voltage doesn't increase with a splitter but amperage and wattage does, you could be reaching those limits, each fan is rated at .55 max amps and 6.6w each. I know my gigabyte mitx mobo is rated at 2amp per header so I usually run 3 fans per header easily but maybe yours is only 1amp? Sadly this information isn't made public by most manufacturers. A fan hub or different fans may be the best option.
  15. Wait a minute.. The media creation tool actually works? I've never gotten it to work and have always used Rufus. A couple days ago I needed to install windows on a new build and I bought a brand new USB and WMCT failed in a USB 2 port and a USB 3 port so I gave up and used it to download the newest iso and then created the bootable USB with Rufus. Honestly, WMCT seems terrible.
