  1. I run a few different profiles through MSI afterburner. Basic computer use = stock settings Basically my case fans sit at a fairly low rpm, gpu fans don't run at all. General gaming = voltage and temp maxed out on sliders, gpu fan 80% case fans 1400rpm Overclock = low over clock on 1080ti I have gpu fans at 100% case fans 1700tpm With gpu fans at 100% and case fans up higher I barely can hear them with headphones on and pc on the desk next to me Gpu temps are 63c max in summer, cpu 56c In winter I can drop fan speeds down a fair amount and stay well below 60c
  2. Thank you very much I don't care to much if people don't like RGB it's my computer and my money I work hard for so will spend it how I want. most of the RGB components I picked up on sale anyway
  3. I like RGB so that makes your post pointless imo
  4. Was not sure were to post this. Made my own rgb desk. Also got rid of original monitor stand to tidy desk up and give some more room.
  5. So recently brought a msi gtx1080ti gaming gpu. First time over clocking. Bench marked fine at +100 on the core +400 memory But I noticed after awhile playing games my fps was drastically dropping Core frequency stayed the same and gpu temp was 67c A pc restart would fix it temporarily. After many drive re-installs and different things I did a complete windows reinstall. Tried oc again, this +80 core and +200 memory Ran heaven bench mark for a couple hours at 3440x1440 ultra, x8AA, teselation on etc with no issues for extended game play for 6 days. Last night in pubg lobby I lost 25fps but core frequency actually went up. Game restart did nothing ( actually was awhile before the lobby screen loaded for awhile) PC restart fixed the issue. Not sure if this was a one off pubg issue or if my memory OC is still causing issues, if that is the issue. Gpu never got past 61c Tried for about 45min before work no issues. Any thoughts, advice ?
  6. Asus rogs strixs b350 itx motherboard Ryzen 1700x 16g G.skill trident z ram 3200mhz Msi gtx1080 ti gaming gpu I have just used DDU driver removal program for a fresh install but now getting a error saying driver is not compatible with my system
  7. So recently I upgraded from a msi gtx1080 to a msi gtx1080 ti ( both gaming versions) My initial bump of around 30-40% in fps is disappearing after 1 game. In pubg in lobby I get 140+ fps (3440×1440) First game I see around 120-130 fps ( this can drop a bit towards end of game) Once back in the lobby after first game it's now at 103fps. Jump into a game and fps is now 80-100fps Tried fresh nvidia install Heaps of other ideas I found on YouTube but nothing works
  8. Thanks for everyone's comments I thought there was no issues but better to ask people with much more experience than myself
  9. Just a coolermaster aio 120r Only 1 fan ( not push pull setup) Small case. Inwin a1 (20 litres)
  10. So hope this is the correct place. My system Ryzen 1700x watercooled (single 120 rad) 16g G.skill trident z ram Asus rogs strixs b350 itx motherboard And was running a msi gtx1080 gaming x gpu I just switched to a msi gtx1080ti gaming and done some overclocking for the first time. Now winter (when I first built the system)the Temps were roughly Cpu 56c Gpu 63-66c (gtx1080) Room temp around 18-20c Summer has hit fast and my 1080 was not hitting low 70s. Cpu mid 60s Room temp 30c The 1080ti is now sitting at 70c (55-60% fan speed) Also cpu is 68-70c I realise the bigger 1080 even running similar or less temps is still adding extra heat to the system . I mentioned my cpu heat in a discord chat and was told it's to hot for constant gaming. Everything I have read suggests otherwise. These temps are while playing pubg with a 3440 x 1440 ultrawide Gpu sitting around 98% utiliza
