  1. So I want to get a new gaming monitor and my requirements are 1440p 144hz 27 inches or above, VA or IPS panel, ive got a gtx 1070. I saw this Samsung display Samsung LC32JG52 its a 1440p 144hz VA panel without adaptive sync for £350, but there is a Samsung LC32HG70 which is also 1440p 144hz VA but it has freesync 2 as well as HDR for an added £200 as it costs £550. So my question is whether it is worth the extra £200 for freesync and HDR, as im not sure with the announcement that adaptive sync will be compatible with 20 and 10 series cards on this monitor. I've never owned a 144hz display before so im not sure how bad the screen tearing will be as at 60hz ive always had v-sync on.
  2. Was planning on getting this monitor its 32" and is selling for around £350 heres the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LC32JG52QQUXEN-32-Inch-Curved-Monitor/dp/B07FCR8KW1/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1 I was wondering if there are any better alternatives for 1440p 144hz gaming at around £300-£500, I picked this monitor due to the VA panel as I never again want a TN panel.
  3. I can comfortably hit that frame rate no problem in most games except the most demanding AAA games, just wanted to upgrade my monitor but im not sure which one to get as in best value for money 144hz monitor.
  4. I don't see how that matters but a ryzen 2600.
  5. Currently running a 1440p benq gw2765 at 60hz ips with a gtx 1070 and I was wondering what would be the best 1440 144hz monitor with and without gsync.
  6. Currently I've got a 27 inch BENQ GW2765HT 1440p monitor and I was wondering what would be the best monitor arm for it so I that I can freely move it around, and one that will support the weight of the monitor.
  7. I just installed my ryzen 1500x and b350 motherboard and I just wanted to test out if they worked, my gpu is coming in a few days. Will my PC turn on without a GPU, eg will it POST?
  8. So I've had this Coolermaster Thunder 600W power supply for around 3 years and it came with a prebuilt PC, the problem is I fear it's dying the reason being I can hear crackling during general use and it gets especially loud under load during gaming. My question is what is the sign of a dying power supply? My Specs are: Rx 480 , ryzen 5 2600 , x370 motherboard , few hard drives and SSD's and nothing is overclocked. I found this odd as well are these voltages normal, ( from aida64) :
  9. Budget £150-300 The use of this laptop will be mostly general tasks for school, watching videos and movies as well as some light gaming, very old titles and strategy games that don't require a lot of power. Battery life: preferably around 3-4 hours Weight: Doesn't matter Screen resolution: preferably 1080p but i know at this price point Im probably gonna have to settle for a 768p Overall I just want something cheap that I can use for school as I have a powerful PC at home for gaming.
  10. As the title suggests I want to buy one of these 1440p monitors but I am really not sure of the difference, everywhere I searched online the specs seem identical. Does anyone know the difference?
  11. That is a really nice video I would definitely consider this as an option because I like the small bezels but I don't think they sell these in the UK because I can't seem to find any here.
  12. Wow, thanks for the advice I'll definitely be going for the BenQ as this was the monitor I was considering, thanks so much for your help!
  13. Do you have any links for these monitors I can't seem to find these anywhere.
  14. Hi, thanks for the offer but I'd like a new monitor. Also if it isn't much trouble do you think this monitor is any good? : https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-PB277Q-Monitor-Flicker-Certified/dp/B01B6JD5A0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1527792583&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+1440p&dpID=31QU9%2BymypL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
