i trying to make a portable pc that use less power as possible and it small as possible. project that could play at least 2k res games with pcie slot power but i think i'll need wait till comes real gpus since it's indeed ridiculous to buy high end and use it as med end but i just think is it even possible and i sent topic cause i think some1 would know better

basicly there is non low power card that can greatly handle 4k gaming or even 2k gaming so if you would add more horse power by buying higher end card and just underclock it but like i say'd im just curios can you even underclock your high end that mutch that it works max 75w and if can does it lose too mutch performance to keep things running. dont get me wrong you dont really need atm 8gb but there would be some future proofs also

but you need vram for higher resolutions but i think if you would even do this the performance that you lose might be way too mutch so it might be pointless still. i dont know im just curios for this

so i have been thinking it would be really nice if we have a 8gb low power gpu so the only power that pcie slot delivers 75w so let's say for example can we underclock 570 8gb or some other card to 75w max so we would use it as lowerpower mode but getting the 8gb vram on it?. or do you have make some bios hacks or stuff like that and can it be stable even.?
