Thats your problem. This issue has been very prevalent with replacement screens, especially in samsung. Your screen is destroyed. Just because you can't see the damage, doesn't mean it isn't there. Did you replace the screen yourself? A tiny sand corn under the screen or a million other things could damage the whole over time, and then resulting in damaged screen at what seems like a random time. Had a friend who put down his phone on a table, only to find it with a crack in the screen 5 minutes later without it being touched. There isn't really much you can do. New phone.

I just solved it...It was a external USB drive that appantly screwed it up. Unpowered the drive, plugged in the SATA disk..booted up and it worked and then connected the external drive again. Will I have to do this every time?

Black is completely unnecessary for all general storage. I would select Greens or Blues(or similar quality from other quality manufacturers) unless you want to have a lot of games installed at the same time, making an SSD less practical, or you need to run demanding programs that need a lot of storage. A friend likes to have a lot of different games installed, including several older games that he still plays from time to time. He has 128 ssd for windows, a 250GB SSD for the newest and most demanding games, a WD black for the older games and a blue for storage of other stuff. The likelyhood for a dead on arrival disk is bigger with the blue and this is a criticism i have of WD....i despise their "packaging". The brackets are because it doesn't deserve to be called that. Unless your retailer themselves put in in a new package, you sometimes end up with a dead disk due to shipping. The black isn't exactly well packaged either but there is at least a little protection. Had both a Blue and a Black arriving DOD. Had no issues with RMA but its still annoying and just not good enough from WD.

So I was readying my cousins new computer by installing all the apps he wanted, installed his games etc etc etc. I connected one of my storage sata drives to his computer..but when returning it to my own gives disk read error. The drive has never had a windows partition on it, and every works perfectly as soon as its disconnected. Im sure all other hardware is working. Shows up in bios correctly. I generally avoid connecting hard drive while a system is running but I can't get access windows if I plug it in before turning on the pc. any suggestions

Thank you for the recommendations...but 1.0.7.0 doesn't work as well with graphics mods like icenhancer. Im running a 4790k and a 970. Will try to find some of the other things you mentioned...thank you.

Damn...Well I want to finish the game with good graphics before adding cars. Are there anything you do recommend adding? I did a clean install and im running 1.0.4.0 since i've read that it works much better with mods.

So since I finally have a good system again, I have started modding GTA IV. And was hoping somebody here had a little expirience. I have installed icenhancer 3.0, and the textures the same uploader provided. Its running very well. There are a lot of talk about the taxi bug, but I could not find out if that bug also shows its face if I only replace cars instead of adding them as extras? Are there any mods that are even better than icenhancer?

Deserved was the wrong term to use....fair enough. I agree that we have to look the actions of the people involved....Unfortunately, almost none of those actions are very clear. You say that brown escalted....I would just like to again point out that there is no proof that brown escalated except for the officers word. There are no recordings. There is only conflicting reports and evidence that gives indications but doesn't prove everything.

Yes....But I would like to point out that there are plenty of people who are pro police who have made some giant leaps as well. But yes...I trust that they didn't have enough information to indict. Doesn't mean that Michael Browns actions deserved his fate.... Hopefully, we will have tools in the future that would give us better information. Body cameras, body mics and similar things are luckily getting more used. And I don't listen to opinion people. I my information from research and a fundamental principle of multiple sources and not trusting sources with too much bias, especially if not cooperated by other sources.

Because I agree that we need to not convict anybody when we don't know the fact....And that goes for both the officer and Michael Brown. Im saddened that this was picked as the case that blew everything up, since there are so much confusion and conflicting information about the actual shooting because there IS a problem in the US with far too many unarmed and innocent black people being shot by police that are far more clear and where the officers actually seemed clearly guilty. This one is far more unclear in my opinion.

I agree. It is not the deternimant for their actions. I just wanted to object if you were suggesting that race never plays a factor. I actually agree that we have to be careful to judge. But you are clearly very comfortable with judging that Michael Brown deserved to be shot.
