She isn't all that cute really, it's mostly the skimpy outfit, comically proportioned breasts, and the fact that she's gah-gah for the insert-yourself-here bland protagonist that gets most people.

As for good series, my money's on Kekkai Sensen and Ghost in the Shell Arise. Others will say SNAFU and Food Wars, but SNAFU's boring until it decides to drop some "realizations" on the MC, and Food Wars is a one trick pony so far (though it shows some comedy potential beyond that).

As an aside, I just finished the Pandora Hearts manga. It was pretty darn good. I can't say the ending was quite my cup of tea after that kind of story, but they tried. And at 100+ pages it was already long enough.

I'm still recovering from my fury over how the evergreen manga got screwed up.

Just watched the two first eps of DanMachi...looks like JC staff going for the ultimate fanservice experience.:-( We have big boobed lolis, tons of elf ears,even a tail or two, gods(some weird mix of greek/Norse gods...loki is a woman with a flat chest issue...because that makes sense apparently).

But no really, they can.  On these very forums I rightfully predicted Rockstar's business moves in advance, because they are perfectly logical.  They worked on the PS3/X360 first, that is their primary market.  Then they gave it some time before releasing for PS4/X1, another good move.  Launching GTAV a month after the next-gen consoles released would have most likely stunted sales, versus waiting until well after the holidays etc. as the ownership numbers increased dramatically.  There are probably development factors to take into account too, teams working on patches, GTA Online, Online Heists, etc.  Next-gen market is the secondary market.  Then, at last, the tertiary market, however much that pains your eyes to read it, PC.  It originally was slated to come out only a few months after the next-gen launch, this no doubt due to the fact that launching an optimized game for the fragmentary hardware market that is PC is much more difficult than for one type of hardware that are consoles.

 

Then, after the horrific two years we've had in the AAA market of unacceptable games being shoved out long before they're ready, Rockstar alongside many other developers in 2015 (Rocksteady with Arkham Knight, CDPR with Witcher 3, Obsidian with Pillars, Nintendo with Zelda) made the shrewd choice of delaying the PC release a few months more.  Not only are they not alone in this kind of decision, they are probably making the right one, especially with the reputation their previous GTA PC title has.

 

Of course, the game might still be terribly optimized, I guess we'll find out in less than 100 hours!  I expect thousands of PC gamers are busy spending their weekend sharpening pitchforks, rolling new torches, and polishing for caps lock keys for optimum cruise control coolness come Tuesday.

Exactly. I think its quite understandable. Working on everything at the same time would require far more staff on an already expensive game.

Oh, I really didn't realize that this was an argument at all. I just thought of it as a quite civil discussion. I never understood why disagreements should be a negative.

To be honest I've no idea if our definitions differ but either way I don't really see it as a problem? They may differ but it's just a set of circumstances? :shrug:

Would having an IPS monitor flanked by two TNs be a good setup? I'd like to use this as the central monitor in an eyefinity setup and buy two other high refresh rate monitors of the same refresh rate and resolution, only that they'd be TN because they are cheaper.

If you need TN(You don't btw), I would put the IPS on the sides since the viewing angles are superior.

Just go all IPS.

I think a lot of my feelings towards the video in the OP might (as well as the decisions I subsequently made) also be due to my overall experience of childhood.

I think thats the case for most of us:-( But im sad you had bad experiences that have such an impact to this day.

I find it a little difficult to relate to? I kind of realised early on that I wouldn't be able to have kids because of my health issues. It kind of just makes me think I made the right decision :0/

 

It makes me a little emotional when I think about my Nephew on my ex's side and I did my very best for him. It's weird but for as much good as I did it's still the mistakes that come most easily to mind. My mind just loves to show me that stuff, I don't know why.

Can I suggest the 760t? Its not for everybody but I just love that case. Its basically like the 750D on the inside.

The 900D is the big even for me. It makes sense if you have custom water cooling and want to use the extra button as a place a massive radiator, but for aircooling, it makes no sense to go 900D over 750D....its basically the same, the 900D is just made that much taller.
