  1. CS GO, Assasins creed origins, Rust, Destiny 2, Fortnite. Same issue in pretty much all of these games.
  2. Alright, so I took your advice, and I'm comparing my results to a Sapphire Nitro 580 which is probably clocked higher than mine and are using a better CPU. All of these presets are at Ultra with 2x aa Taken from https://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/ryan-martin/sapphire-rx-580-nitro-limited-edition-8gb-review/6/ 1440p Unigine Heaven Ultra 2x AA My score: 1238 Sapphire Nitro 580 score: 1302 4k Unigine Heaven Ultra 2x AA My score: 497 Sapphire Nitro 580 score: 516 What do you think?
  3. Yeah, I got it from techpowerup which is a reputable site and the bios version was a verified one And yes, I did reinstall windows, 2 days ago. Making me pull my hair out but it might just be a bottleneck of some sort
  4. These are my temps and clocks while running Unigine Heaven at Ultra, 2x aa: These are two other firestrike scores with my same specs: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/12887866 https://www.3dmark.com/fs/14527394 The case is a Fractal Design Focus G
  5. Hello. So this past week I purchased a RX580 that was previously mined on. I flashed the bios back to stock, and I'm on a clean copy of windows now so there's no need to use DDU. I noticed in most of my games that I'm playing, my FPS was either lower or equal to my old EVGA 1050ti. It's not underperforming to the point where im getting 2 fps in every game, but its just my FPS is less than it is supposed to be Here are my current specs: Ryzen 3 1200 clocked @ 3.7 ghz Powercolor Red Devil RX 580 8gb at defualt bios profile 1x8 GB DDR4 2400 mhz G.skill ripjaws V MSI B350 Tomahawk EVGA 450BT 80 plus bronze power supply 1080p I have done everything in the book from reinstalling the drivers with DDU, new copy of windows, turning of freesync, reseating the GPU, reseating the RAM, turning high performance power plan, etc. For some reason, my benchmarks are perfect for my system, and I have compared all the scores and they are just fine Unigine Heaven: Userbenchmark: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/12719387 My 3d mark firestrike score was in the neighbourhood of 11400 I've either narrowed down the problem to my CPU, RAM or PSU. I think my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu but i've seen benchmarks where my cpu and gpu performed just fine. My ram might be an issue as it is single channel and only 2400 mhz, but again i;ve seen many benchmarks with single channel 2400 mhz ram and it performed fine my psu is a 450bt bronze rated PSU and it may not be enough for my GPU,,
  6. Literally i'm having the same EXACT issue. I upgraded from a 1050ti, have a ryzen 3 processor, got a 580, have a 450w evga powersupply,.
  7. I don't think you get what I mean. My games don't have issues with frametimes and dont stutter or hitch, its just that they look at they're playing at a lower framerate.
  8. So, this problem has been making my hair turn gray. I really can't remember when it started but I've been trying to fix it, and it gets even more annoying that it doesn't happen on many games. I've noticed that this problem occurs on games where my system is more than enough capable to run, like Fortnite and Minecraft. Demanding games like Assasin's Creed Origins are smooth as butter at 60fps, but when I cap the FPS on games like minecraft and fortnite at 60, it feels like im playing at 30. I've tried almost everything in the book to no avail, such as switching out the cables, turning down the refresh rate, messing around in N-vidia's control panel, etc. I've benchmarked my system with 3dMark and it is performing at where it should be, including my GPU. My CPU doesn't go over 65 degrees when playing, even on more demanding games. V-sync only helps a little but causes input lag. I My system comprises of: Ryzen 3 1200 EVGA GTX 1050ti 8gb DDR4 1x8 @ 2400 EVGA 450BT PSU 1tb WD Blue MSI B350 Tomahawk ASUS VG245H 75hz monitor, 1ms My cpu is overclocked to 3.7 GHZ and my ram is set at its rated speed.
